yeah I messed up the time schedule quite a bit this round, I think it might be the cause of my one plant going hermie.. I have noticed in the past few days a little bit of seed development in the lower buds on some plants. It isn't too bad so I'm not that worried but it's still a bit sad.

Plants are going great. The 4 new babies are actually showing sex, and they're all female. They're around 7" tall and have very few nodes from the stretch so they won't yield much at all, but it was a good experiment.

They're really getting fat, and the Sativa is starting to foxtail on the main cola.

I picked up a timer over the weekend so that solves my biggest problem with the time. we're good to go now.. In the final stretch. Last week of nutes and HPS.. This Sat they will start getting plain water and MH until harvest.

The foxtails. I never saw that term until about a week ago and now I see it everywhere. Its a great description. So question: is it good or bad? I get them every grow and can never decide if its heat stress, too much nutes, not enough nutes, wrong ratio of nutes, or just bonus!

lmfao nice video dude. Not sure what causes the foxtails either, I've never experienced it until now. I'm not experiencing any other issues though, so I don't think it's unnatural, probably just a sign of a mature plant.

I'm going to clip a test bud this weekend and let it dry for a week then smoke it.. I should be able to gauge when the cut the rest down from that.

Gotta throw some pics up soon.. Maybe tonight or tomorrow I'll snap them. I was going to do it this morning but I got up too late and they were already sleeping.

They're getting fatter and stinkier and the hairs are starting to turn orange. I checked the trichs with my scope and they're around 50/50 clear/cloudy.

One thing that is blowing my mind is the fat huge sativa. She isn't showing much in the way of trichs at all.. She is heavy bud, but no trichs.. The other plants are both very frosty, so I hope the switch to MH this weekend helps get some resin flowing.. The other 2 plants are getting very sticky and there is so much resin on the monster cola that it looks like the leaves are wet in spots.

Alright guys, the new pics as promised are here!

I don't have any pics of the new plants, but they are stretching like crazy and really starting to hair up.. The tallest is 11.5" and only around 2-3 weeks old. I'm curious to see how much I yield from these 4 babies. I wanted to LST then but since they're already flowering I might just wait it out and see what kind of colas I can get from them. Also, they will need transplanted eventually.. I don't know if I should do it now or wait until the roots are thicker and it will slide out and into the new pots with minimal stress.

This plant is so top heavy it's about to fall over

Notice here, this is the top of the Sativa cola, but there aren't many trichs at all. If you look deep into the bud, there are trichs there, but just not on the outside. Anyone have any input on that?

This plant might end up being my favorite. It's developed a very fat frosty cola and all the other buds are very dense and big. It was my least favorite so far, but it's really starting to grow on me. I think it might be one of the best to smoke too. I can't wait to try a bud.. Gotta wait at least another week before I start clipping.

thanks dude. Who would have thought a half of middies would ever pay off this big?! I really cant wait to smoke them and see how much more potent these buds are.. I know my last grow had shitty lighting and still had buds that packed a huge kick in the face.

As for the sativa one without thrichs, it can be one of two things really, either it is so good that it just needs extra time.. did it show sex the same time as the others? orrr simply bad genetics.

yeah hopefully it just needs some extra time, it showed sex first actually, a few days before the rest. Could also be bad genetics as it came from bagseed.. If all else fails, I'm sure it's still smokeable lol

The Sativa I grew had less trics than all of indica plants i've grown...maybe it is just cause it has a lot of sativa in it....and those can take a lot longer to mature as well

thats good to know dude, how long did you have to flower yours for? I checked the trichs and they are still mostly clear where the other plants are more cloudy. I don't mind letting it go a bit longer if it means it will be better bud.

The THC is in the Thrichomes tho amigo, soo no thrichomes no thc, so not smokeable. It deserves another couple o weeks yet tho and fingers are crossed for ya.

yeah well there are trichs on the inside of the cola, and they are mainly inside the buds rather than coating the outside.. it's weird, it's the only time I've seen this.. I'm hoping its just a slow developer.

Sounds fine then. Maybe it will be twice as potent and you will be racking yer brains and notes to find out how you managed it so you can reproduce it haha
