Nippin it in the bud is right! I'm finding a bit more every day now too. October growing!Highya SO,
Does the heat help the soil microbes flourish? I've never seen/heard of that. Can't argue with your success!! Sunny here. Climbed the stepladder to check the tops of the ladies. Found about 6-7 bud rot places (on seven ladies). Nip it in the bud!! Hope you have a nice week! Happy Smokin'
Hehe, I almost gasp'd they were so nice! I think he's paying attention to watering and feed schedules closer than usual. Also we removed 3 lights @ 300 watts a piece. Overnighting may have been a thing in the past too. They're looking a lot better than last time! Has he adjusted the feeding schedule or has he just not hit the week 5 full everything mix yet?
I didn't get the memo on the mint thing! Oh well, I'll be able to tell you if it flavors it and if it's a negative or positive. What an otherwise excellent fix!don't think the peppermint will make any difference.
Early and close inspection is the key to success late in grows! I'm about to head out and face the buds with my trimmers in hand!Found my first affected bud si I cut it off. It was on the Banana Jealousy so as much as it sucks I will just keep my eyes on this plant my Pineapple Chunks has no bad buds so I will not worry about it.
Thanks Gee! Muffy's a special one! All in order and all! Betty's got me seeing bulging buds in the last couple days! I'm relieved to see them! Still 2 + weeks for her but Ifinally see nice buds coming. They both look great Stone, but that Muffy, Wow! She's a frosty one!
On it like stink!Yo yo Mr Oh!

Hi Beez, thanks! We have to get past this weekend for Betty. I think she'll do it. Muffy is another story though! She's done!Your plants are looking great, Stone! Let's hope your weather holds a bit longer.
those buds look awesome, nice colors & glad there was not much rotHARVEST RUNTZ MUFFIN WOOHOO!
Hey all! Muffy's well on her way to drydom! I went up and looked at her upper buds this morning and they were done enough for me. Almost every branch had a piece of rot in it that I carved out. I'm glad I cut this one today and will finish tomorrow. I quit long days and am putting in 4 hour days now. What a life!
She grew nice!
Before.
And after
Washed with lemon and baking soda and two clear rinses
Then gave them a hang
They're the densest thickest buds from my yard yet! I'm happy to get them in to dry!
Thanks Keith! Can't wait to get some in a pipe!Buds look nice hanging great job in 7 to 14 days you will have some nice dry bud.
Thanks con! Thankfully I beat the rot this year for the most part! it can be a slippery slope!those buds look awesome, nice colors & glad there was not much rot
That checks off some big boxes! This one made the heaviest buds! You're probably used to them with your beautiful growing conditions, but it's a real treat for me!Early and purple and beat the rot (and didn't fall off the ladder)? Sounds like the start of the end to a perfect summer! Congrats on all those beautiful flowers with more on the way.
Thanks Carmen! LOS is a natural miracle I'm glad I kept trying!Wow, incredibly beautiful buds!
Every year I remember our first meeting here and how you talked me off the ledge of cutting a few times Bode! Waiting for the right time is almost as important as cutting before rot gets the upper hand! Thanks friend!Highya SO,
Great job and great call on the harvest!! Safe now, in the drying room! I have one like that - fat buds, and prone to the rot. I trim every day also, and may harvest tomorrow, because of that!! I'm glad you are safe! Yay, harvest is on!! Happy Smokin'
Thanks Beez! Now to finish and hope for 2 weeks for Apple Betty. She's coming around!Congrats on those beautiful fat buds!
