Thanks KK, your input regarding algae is certainly noteworthy. I wasn't sure if I needed to be fixing something quick or had a little extra time, or not to worry. I'm liking the "not to worry" idea in the moment. Right now though I don't fuss with my one plant that much, it's still a concern. I have more than 150days invested which to me is much more important than money. You can't get time back. I'm gracious that Sue mentioned it might be light getting in the drain hole. That seems like an easy fix for the future grows. Worst case it appears I will need to monitor my nute intake a bit more.
 
You could always... err... cover your hole when you're not using it, lol.
 
Just a note, I have started a new journal for my second grow. Just dropped seeds, so wanted to start something I could keep current and not have to catch up. It's called BT'z 2nd Grow, SkywalkerOB, Super Lemon Haze, Golden Leaf. Welcome if you're interested.
 
I'm loving the hempy humor, haha

Just wanted to stop in and share the most recent grow. I have Strawberry Kush on the left, and Green Kush (Green Kush/Crack) on the right. Both were flipped to flower on 4/20 after vegging since feb 19th and 25th accordingly.

I also got a second tent running now, so I can have separate veg and flower spaces without worrying much about light leaking (unlike the closet). A friend of mine helped me install ventilation so I can vent the hot air out, which has helped a ton with temps. Carbon filter hooked up of coarse.

Plants seem happy, chugging along...

A good canopy takes good work! I've grown most all of their offerings, minus the Autos, and think their seeds are usually very representative of the strain. My two favorite CKS strains have been Crown Royale and Morpheus, both their own crosses, and are unique providing excellent buzz, taste and smell.

Watching the above video, of course got the brain working with a little Sativa to assist. I googled Hemp Solo Cup and came up with a lot of hits. Plus of course they always give you some photos to check out. Ran across this one, and felt it should be shared.

Hempy Solo Cup Challenge?
Perhaps we could consider a Hempy Solo Cup Challenge? Not that we all have to do it at the same time, but throw one or a few in with a grow and see what happiness we can bring from a small package. Just mention you are starting one and throw some stats of the grow, then weight and measure at the end and share the info.
It would be a nice way to show others hemp has potential also.
I also read that Nebula Haze yielded roughly an Oz on the above video. Even at a half z , six solo cups yielding 3oz?
 
Looks more like an ounce (maybe) in all the cups, combined.
 
Nice little set of buds in that solo cup video. From my own experience you're probably looking at around 40 - 60 grams wet.

So I take the wet to dry ratio is about 4-1 approximately. Not going to hold anyone to that number. I've been wondering about that for quite a while.
 
For my Hempy buds tomorrow I start my second Hempy Journey. I will be taking my new grow from the propagation tray into 32oz Hempy Cups. I was out picking a few things up at the store today and saw the perfect 32oz stadium cup that is quite a bit thicker than Solos and at least twice as tall. They aren't light tight so that's what Duct Tape is for. Will post some pictures tomorrow after I do the deed tomorrow morning. I was going to drill and tape them tonight, but it's gotten a little late and I have the Bladerunner 2049 to finish tonight so I can return it to Netflix by mail.

Cool! :high-five: That was for the movie. Lol!

When you tape them, try running the tape top to bottom and do a double thickness where you plan to drill.
