Thanks for the info gang! I’m looking at everything MMG through Seedsman right now. My MIL uses cbd big time, so I was looking at strains for her for things like ADD, anxiety, etc. For my hubs, I’m looking for pain relief and muscle spasms, and for me the sleepy, anxiety that I think you’re talking about @Preston9mm. The hard part is that Mr. H likes to smoke to get high. He’s tried cbd drops, but he had to use so many drops to get relief, it was not ideal and he went through the bottle quick. He’s willing to try it out though - anything that helps, right? I was wondering about the ones that had 1:1 ratios, would that not be as helpful you think? I really appreciate the help and welcome any advice with this. I’m considering some that are on sale right now: Nightingale, and Hiydrow are the ones I’m watching. I like that you can buy just 1 or 3 and the prices are still decent. Thanks again for the help

Dinafem is doing great stuff with CBD strains right now too. Definitely worth checking out. I've had good luck with all their gear as well.

Research shows again and again that the 1:1 ratio is the most effective for most purposes. So no, the 1:1 wont be less effective at all. It can be even more so. I’m growing Candida so I can have the option of CBD alone, or of making my own blends at different balances, including 1:1

THC is a powerful cannbinoid that manages pain, reduces inflammation, treats insomnia, enhances appetite. It’s just as powerful as CBD and they work best together. Then, people have preferences and some don’t like THC at all so you start with CBD and add little amounts of THC up to where the effect is undesirable, and then back it off. Or stay with CBD only if that’s what is comfortable. The whole thing is very personal and can take some time to fine tune. That said, it’s usually pretty easy to get quick success right away tho

That is a great point about combining the cbd and thc yourself!! You’re so smart! Lol, I need a one of each variety pack until I figure out what we each like best! I got a little coupon for signing up with Seedsman, so I’ll check out dinafem too @Preston9mm, I thought I saw that as an option on there? There’s so many choices, it’s really tough when you’re bad at making decisions!

Alrighty, I ended up placing my order earlier this afternoon, I did end up getting
the two CBD strains I had mentioned before (Nightingale and Hiydrow) then I also grabbed a couple of Gorilla Glue x White Widow photos, so that’s kind of exciting. It’s very cool they throw on freebies too, so I’m getting a few amnesia autos. #seedfever
I’m thinking of gettin some autos going after BBK finishes in the smaller tent. Possibly a 4/20 seed drop? That would be fun. Goodnight all, happy spring equinox (early).

why growers will go ahead and cull stunted autos! It’s all learning though, so I’ll take what I can get, and aim to do better next time.

Oh yeah, I believe it!! They kicked my butt for a few+ weeks, but I think we’ve turned the corner finally. I’m looking forward to starting fresh with autos again and a little bit more experience under my belt now. I kind of like having one photo tent and one auto tent, at least for a little while. Lol, not sure what’s more exciting, dropping seeds or harvesting.

Yes! Lol. I made that mistake right out of the gates. It’s has been a real crash course sort of grow, poor things!

Best advice i can give? Start up in passive hydro with coco or perlite (hempy} then move into soil when you got the farm rolling. ACT,vermicomposting. 20/20 now though. Water under the bridge.

Not sure if you do but I always break open the bottom mesh of those pucks after I soak them and before I put the seed in. That way the tap doesn't get caught in the screen. I also tear them off completely before I plant so that nothing can hold back the roots. Not all of them are small enough to get through the screen.

Will do, these are a little different than the ones I used before. I already had to move the top netting aside, so one seedling could pop up.
