Heavenly Hybrid 2nd Grow: Blackberry Kush, Coco Grow, LED450

She has a plastic trivet under her, with a small collection area for drainage. I did try using a grate underneath and I let her completely dry out the last two times I watered. She was light as a feather, so totally dried. Thanks for helping me troubleshoot, I hate watching her be sickly and not know what to try next. This all started as soon as I brought her down to the flowering tent. I thought maybe it could be cold shock, but it’s only about 5°F cooler, average.
Sneaky B always has me like :hmmmm:
Yes - had an inkling all that had happened already.

Sometimes they’re just like that :hmmmm:

P9 is probly on to something re the nutes so its great you’ve done something there already! May she bloom on!

Thanks Amy, I hope so. I should’ve renamed her Picky B, oh well. She’s making little buds pretty well, considering. :D

Last update
Jack Herer #1 - 41 days

This girl kind of outgrew the training I had in mind. Oh well. They all got a little touch of light burn, JH #1 took the brunt of it. I bumped all the lights back up, hopefully I found the sweet spot for them now.

And now, last but not least -
Bubblegum #1 - day 41

This girl seems like she has taken best to the training. I really look forward to my next grow of these girls and see what they’ll do with different training; now that I see how different they are from the mystery autos I grew.

And to wrap everything up, a group shot:
Jack Herers in the back corners, bubblegums in the front corners, and mysteries in the middle.

That’s all folks!

In terms of LST next time, when you get to the edge of the pot with the apical stem, start to tie it around the edge to keep it low (unless you want to anchor it to the tent floor with a weight or something like that).

Also, it's better not to start the bend until the stem is taller. When you start it below the level of the outside of the pot, it's still going up. If you start it when it's above the level of the top of the pot you can get it level or even lower. That will help spread the hormones more evenly across all the branching.

I hope you got the light height dialed in now...plenty of bud sites!

Thanks Shed, you had mentioned that before. Honestly, I’m just riding these ones out and I probably won’t do this method again. I’m certainly learning with them tho. Major differences between these and the ones that were mislabeled. Frankly, I can’t wait for them to be done, so I can move on to the next! The BBK quad is my pride and joy right now.

I've had a few autos I wanted to write off as well. One of the reasons I don't grow them all that much any more!
Lol, yeah - I thought they wouldn’t be that different from photos. WRONG!! I still have quite a few auto seeds, so I’m not giving up, but I’m not going to have so many at once until I have a better handle on them. Plus the next grow is that group grow, so I’m double ready for these to be done!

Update Blackberry Kush
Day 93 / 17 blooming

I wanted to wait a bit longer, but I had to take some leaves for air flow purposes. It’s much better now. I saw some little white specks (I think it was just some vaporizer dust) but it freaked me out about wpm, so everything is opened up and nicely flowing now. I’ve got eagle eyes on this baby for a while just to be sure everything really is fine.
And now, pics of my little pride and joy. The canopy isn’t perfectly flat, but I’m happy with it.

She smelled so wonderful when I was taking the leaves, so sweet and truly smelling of blackberry. I love it.

That’s all for now, Happy Gardening :ciao:

A few more plants to update today. I recalibrated my pH pen again. I might have done it wrong last time, it should be right now. It was only off by a bit, but still.

First up - Sneaky B (unknown auto)
Day 61 / ~19 blooming

She seems to be doing a bit better. I upped her nutes and little by little she perks up. She has been building buds like crazy, so that’s nice.

Up next, Bubblegum #2 (auto)
Day 47 - no clue when first pistils started showing

I did a little pruning to increase air flow, I also took some little bud sites that were too tiny to amount to amount to anything.

And last for the day
Jack Herer #2 (auto)
Day 47 - no clue when first pistils started showing

Same treatment as BG#2, a little pruning and tiny buds removal. I forgot to get a close up of BG2’s main stalk, but for this JH2, I’m pretty good with how it’s looking.

They are all still doing this droop/no droop dance. Maybe I need to start feeding more often or more nutes? Today’s dosage was stronger, so we’ll wait and see what they say about that tomorrow.
Until then, Happy Gardening :ciao:
