Okey doke everybody, I’m so terribly behind - at least it feels that way, so I’ll get cracking at my updates to get started. Then I’ll start cracking on making some rounds and visiting journals.
After a long weekend of (not so) baby birthday and MIL visit, I have been neglecting all these girls. The coco girls were just quickly watered and left alone. The promix girls were barely even watered. They seemed to handle it fairly well!
The moms were starting to droop, and the Hiydrow mom in particular. After a good watering, I expect they’ll be right as rain in no time.
Also on the veg tent - babies!!
Meet Dr. Seedsman and Critical Purple Kush! Happily the Dr. S has made it, she ended up being upside down in her pellet. After I saw a root come up, I opened up the pellet and she had completely opened under dirt, so I turned her right and she’s doing great (one day later). I’ll move them into solos of promix hp later today. Afghani has been a no show, so I used a very gritty sand paper and it’s soaking right now with a drop of seaweed in the water, per VGs suggestion. Come on Afghani!!!!
That brings us up on the easy update. More coming...

Onto the blooming girls! We’re at 8 weeks from flip now and I thought I better check up on some trichs and just see where we’re at, at least.
First up, Candida (from yesterday)
Forgive the blur in the middle of my loupe, I bumped it on the plants and didn’t know it til after I was done taking pics... it’s clean now.
I still don’t think she’s ready and I’m shocked. I thought she’d be early, but I guess not.
I still think she will be the next girl down, but we shall see!

Lots of getting cloudy trichs still. I think she’s pretty indica-ish, so I’ll be letting her show some ambers before she comes down.

Next up... Hiydrow
So friggin floppy!!!!! I dreaded moving a couple of the girls around and this one was one of them for sure. I added a couple more bamboo stakes to keep her in one piece. I’d guess she still has a week to two weeks left? So I won’t bring her out again unless I am really suspecting she’s done. Difficult sister!!!

I agree that the Candida is next, but not before this weekend would be my guess. They all look delicious!

The last one I pulled out today was Northern Lights.
This one was another floppy flopper. My eyes are starting to cross from looking at so many trich pics. How about you?!
This is another one I want to go longer with. Maybe like 5-10% amber? Still haven’t quite decided, but I‘ve got time.
I moved the girls around in the tent a bit. Tall girls on one side where I can have the light up higher.
Mango Kush and Critical Mass are on the left, Candida middle, and Hiydrow and northern lights are on the right. I like this arrangement much better, I nearly got them so that they aren’t touching each other. At least they have a little elbow room.
I didn’t take out Mango Kush today, since I checked her trichs on the bud I cut yesterday. If I can find those in my deleted pics, I’ll post them, just so we can see together, but she’s not even close.
Okay, that wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it would be! Am I forgetting anything from the hideout. Lol, if I think of more, I’ll let ya know.

I know it! That’s those stinkin Nightingale and Hiydrow! I was thinking about what I might want to do with them. I was planning to have them in the bloom tent by now...

If you don't want to top you can supercrop back to the middle. The centers look pretty open.

Looking all excellent Heavenly. Your plants are starting to look very newty-plant-esque in their shapes - long and slender.
I think your estimates on harvests seem about right, just by looking at the trichs. There’s a general ‘ripeness’ in appearance that happens too. I don’t really decide based solely on trichs - timing, life events, the look of the buds and sometimes simply desire are all of equal importance to me in that decision. Although I do want a good many trichs to be cloudy!

Hello to all! I made a little discovery with my loupe + me being a ding dong. I’ve been struggling to get good trich pics lately and I couldn’t figure out why. Turns out I was attaching the loupe upside down from what I wanted and the magnification was wrong!! Lol, doy. I did it right this time and wow - so much easier and basically all shots were usable. Whoops!!
Ok, it’s time for some more Candida pics, because well... she’s got me confused to be honest! She’s at day 59 from flip and here’s what we’re working with:
I’m not sure what to think of this girl, I’m seeing quite a bit more amber from last time, but also still some clear-going-cloudy, I think? I’ve heard that sometimes some plant’s trichs just don’t change much, but I haven’t ever really seen it for myself before. So, that’s where I’m at... what say you all?
For a quick reminder, this is primarily going to be used for me, to help my anxiety (fingers crossed).

I think she's ready- mostly cloudy with a bit of amber...IIRC, you don't want a whole lot of amber
in a high cbd strain...
