Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

I found my recharge that I bought a while back. Do you think that be a good product to try?
I'd try it- If your soil is "weak" it might give it a little boost in the microbe dep't...?.
(I know zip about Sohum soil)
I use it every so often in my grows- not for any specific deficiencies, but because I figure it's good for the plant- although, in a SIP, it never touches the soil, so I may just be wasting it...but, I use it anyway...:)

Sorry I'm coming in so randomly, out of left field... Are you using Real Growers Recharge, Heavenly? I'll go back and see if I can find out. Hope it's working as good for you as for everyone else I've spoken to who ever used it. I just thought I recognized some symptoms of use...
Hey RD, I’m sorry for the late reply! No, no recharge here, although I’ve tried it in the past and it seems solid. So far, I’m just using Sohum living soil.

Hey all, it’s update time. I do believe the issues I was seeing were due to insufficient watering. After a heavy watering with a dash of epsom salt, they are looking right. I thought it’s a good day for picture day before anything goes sideways again.

My early favorite Peyote Forum. Took to her training so well, and basically filled it all in herself.

Next up, DTF. Usually a pouty pout, but seemingly happy enough for now.

Whoops, premature posting. Here’s the proper finish edit.

Next up, GG4, keepin it wrinkly.

This one was showing the most color deficiency, but new growth is looking good again. Her canopy is pretty wonky, but I’m not sweatin it yet.

Last up, Limonade Skunk, still the baby of the bunch, but a decently flat canopy.

Over in the 2x4, the wizard is moving along.

I noticed a couple pistils hanging around, I think I did push her into flower when I topped her. Sorry Justin, I don’t think I’ll be doing your genetics justice on this round. :( But we’ll push on and see what she can do for stretch.

That’s about it this fine Sunday morning. I hope you’re all having a nice, relaxing weekend and thanks for stopping in!

I see a full tent in your future, HH!

Lovely work! :Rasta:

Everything looks good, HH. Can you tell me about the auto watering setup you have?

They sure snapped out of it!
Nice that they were just thirsty- it sure beats having nute problems...
Now they can get back to the business of testing the capacity of that tent.. :cheesygrinsmiley:
They are beautiful ladies, HH !
I think I did push her into flower when I topped her.
Maybe- but that outdoor Wookie of mine did 90% of it's growing after she started flowering...
the Wizard might do the same, only time will tell...
So don't count her out quite yet!

Definitely going to do the majority of her growing this coming month!

HH you know these are just testers so there’s no way to disappoint me- I’m more sad you got a batch of seeds that won’t pop. Beez0404 had the same thing happen. Tried like 10 and couldn’t get any to pop. We wondered if it had to do with temps during shipping. Luckily I know where there are more 😉

I subconsciously started topping on the day I see the first pistil ..and now it kind of just stuck. Even if it seems a bit late on some strains, it seems to delay them going into full flower for a bit and I feel like I got a better stretch.

I'm hoping this doesn’t prevent you from wanting to run those in the future, I know you’ll make them beautiful once you get the right seed.
The other plants look amazing and I hope they leave you no room 🤭

I love a low grow, and try as I might I never seem to achieve it.
Heavenly Hybrid was my inspiration to start training/growing like I do...3 or 4 years ago, I saw one of her plants (Afghani, I think- but I'm likely wrong..) and I said to myself- holy shit! that's how I want to do it....so that's what I've been doing ever since...
I think I thanked her back then, but I'm doing it again now!
Thank You for the inspiration, @Heavenly Hybrid...
You forever changed my growing style...

I’m going to give that a try next time. I think Boo does it that way too and she’s def an autos master. Good advice. 🙏

Omg, never!! I only tried three so far, lots left to try. I do not give up easily, so worry not, we’ll get one to sprout. 🌱

Lol, thanks so much Justin 💗

I’m loving the shapes too. I love a low grow, and try as I might I never seem to achieve it.
Thanks Trala, the quadline is my fave training method. Haven’t found anything I like better, so I stick with it for now. @Asesino85 is where I learned and has some really great tutorials on it.

I saw one of her plants (Afghani, I think- but
That was a special plant for me too, Carcass. One of my first successes in growing and it brought you into my life/journal - even more special! 💗 It was a blackberry kush.

Throwback time!

Everything looks good, HH. Can you tell me about the auto watering setup you have?
Thanks HG, so nice to see you popping in again! 💗 It’s called an Autopot xl and it’s a gravity feed system. It has a 12 gallon reservoir that I propped up on a step stool (it needs to be elevated 6”). Each plant has a little caddie it sits in and in the caddie there’s a little floating valve that controls the water flow.
IMG_4270.jpeg

IMG_4271.jpeg

I’m going to try my best to explain this part… When the little caddie reservoir water level gets low, the water “turns on”. The little black cylinders float up when the water level fills up inside the caddie. That how it knows when to turn off. The sales pitch is that this floating valve it’s what gives plats a proper wet/dry cycle.
IMG_4273.jpeg

I like it a lot so far. It seems pretty error proof as far as flooding the tent is concerned, so that’s a big plus. Hopefully that description made sense! I’ll take some more detailed pics as I get it set up this week.

I’m holding hope for sure. I did the same thing with the purple kush I just finished. I should’ve known I guess. Oriental kush did well with topping. I guess it’s a crap shoot. But purple kush turned out well enough. I have faith in the wiz!

Definitely going to do the majority of her growing this coming month!
Yess!! Fingers crossed!

I’ve come back to re-read this message like three times so far, it makes me feel so happy! You’re so sweet, thank you Carcass!

You're so very welcome, HH...I'm glad I could put a smile on your face💚
That Blackberry Kush remains one of the best looking, best grown plants I've seen...not really very big, but loaded to the hilt with weed!...and it's pretty weed to boot!
Those 4 you've got going now are headed in that same direction, they're gonna be memorable!
