Heavenly Hybrid’s Hideout: Jump In Anytime

Hello all! I did a little more work on the quads and they are set up for success.

It’s tough to see in the pictures, but they are each embracing their training nicely, with the exception of DTF (top/left). Her inner stems have some height to gain for a flat canopy, but the rest seem to be in good shape.

Bad news about lil Wookiee seed #3. I left her in the water for 4 days and nada. Since it didn’t sprout, I’m taking the opportunity to reconsider my plans. I’m now thinking about flowering the Candida mom I have in the 2x4. It would diminish The wizard’s yields, but I’m in a pinch for Candida and I feel like the outside girl has such a small chance for success. le sigh. As I mentioned in the last post, I did get a little plastic cover for it but I forgot to grab a pic. Next time!

Speaking of the Wizard, I topped her today

She’s 18 days along now, so hopefully she’ll hit a nice big growth spurt soon. 🚀

That’s all I’ve got for now. Hope you’re all doing well and having some nice green gardens. I’m out of town for mine and Mr. H’s anniversary, but hoping to get all caught up with everyone again once we’re back home again. 💗

They're ready to rock for sure HH!

Happy Anniversary!

Hey Stone, it is, but our beloved Mr. Scorpio made them.
Van said he held it as a favorite. I haven't grown any out yet. You'll have to let us know what you think please? He mentioned it's uplifting and good for what ails ya!

They sure do look on the success path Heavenly!
Have the best anniversary!

I got a couple of regs from Van years ago and grew one out. It was one of the earliest faves at my house! :thumb:

Sorry I'm coming in so randomly, out of left field... Are you using Real Growers Recharge, Heavenly? I'll go back and see if I can find out. Hope it's working as good for you as for everyone else I've spoken to who ever used it. I just thought I recognized some symptoms of use...

Happy Anniversary, Mrs. and Mr. HH..!

Your quads look just about perfect..👍

Plants look Great HH nice job on the transplant and head cutting LOL Good to see the outside plant is doing better too // And that damn purple weed just looks Yummy ! For some reason about 4 pages back i stopped getting notices So i reset it and will see , hope ur doing well ! :passitleft:

Like smokes, I stopped getting notifications for your thread but I'm all caught up now. Congrats on the new plants. They look good. Sorry about the Wizard but maybe it's a good thing since you need more Candida? Hope it all works out for you.

I hope you're having a fabulous wedding anniversary trip with Mr. H.!

Hey there again my grow buds! Thank you all for the anniversary wishes, it was nice to get away, but it’s also very nice to be home once again.

I am a bit concerned about the quads. Every one of them is showing some deficiencies and I’d think after being a week into fresh dirt, they’d be happy clams.

Is it possible this is from poor watering habits? It’s the only thing I can think of besides bad product from Sohum. It’s been a week today since I put them in the new dirt/4x4. Temps peak at about 81. Not feeling very happy about this, I thought I was about to be on cruise control with the watering system. Alas, I need to get this straightened out before I can flip anything.

The wizard is bumping along.

I think I see a little pistil. 😯 Hopefully I didn’t press her into flower with topping. Woof, I am not feeling great about my grows atm! I hope you’re all doing well and your gardens are doing better than mine! 😄

Looks like it could be a magnesium deficiency and the leaves look have that curled and wrinkly overwatered look. Or underwatered. That one is easy to tell from the weight of the pots though.

It's only been a week in their new homes so the soil in the original rootball might just be out of gas and not enough roots yet in the new stuff. Are you watering the whole pot, just the edges, just the center?

You're getting a little purpling on some stems and leaf petioles, which could indicate a phosphorous deficiency- but it could also just be genetic, so it's hard to be sure.
And, as Shed said, the leaves do seem to indicate a magnesium deficiency...
I don't think a little shot of each would hurt anything as long as you don't overdo it- if they look a bit better in 4 or 5 days then that was it, if not, keep trying, although I'm not sure what else to try... :hmmmm:

The plants and training look great HH, altho as I read further down you then got a little leaf coloration happening, hopefully only minor and they are soon back to full health. All the best for a great anniversary!

I tried to water the area around the old dirt, I’m just wondering if I didn’t water enough. It definitely wasn’t light, but they’re in 6.6g pots at an awkward angle, so I dunno! Today was the third watering since transplant. I’ll give it a solid watering tomorrow too and see what happens.

I found my recharge that I bought a while back. Do you think that be a good product to try?

I find that after transplant I need to water the original rootball much more than the new soil around it. I basically have to water the original rootball as often as I did before the upcan.
Ok, that may be part of the problem too then. I gave them an all over watering today, so we may be back on track (I hope) 🤞
Oh look, I have numbers under my name. :)
brag 😆

Oooh another long spear grower! Thanks!

I think so too. I'd consider giving em a shot of epsom anyway to get things going so when the roots get going they can catch up easy.
