Thanks, guys. That's what we'll do then. I wish I didn't have to go out today and tomorrow but I will work on them.

The deed is done. BD1 and BD2 have both been trimmed, chopped and hung. Here are some pics:

The BDs might have been the biggest but 9 plants are still left in this grow so don't go anywhere yet.

Hey HG.
With buds as big and dense as yours I would put a fan directly on them.
You really want them to dry out a bit faster than a normal harvest to try to keep the mold at bay.
You can also try to manually open up the budlets on the colas to get some more air circulation into them.
I used a chopstick to gently pry them apart.

Excellent advice, especially with the botrytis happening!

Do you pull the chopstick out of your hair or do you have spares in the kitchen?

Nice grow @HashGirl!

Am I remembering correctly that those were "Fast" strains?

Beautiful harvest HG! Congrats to you and Felonious on such long towering colas. :thumb:

Thanks, Shed. Felonious trimmed BD1 and I trimmed BD2 (mostly). I couldn't reach the taller colas so Felonious did those while I sat in a chair and worked on the lower parts. It took us about 2 hours and even though I sat half the time, my knee was killing me last night.

Congratulations on a outstanding harvest!
:yahoo:
How did it look mold-wise?

Thanks, Felipe. We found some more mold but not in huge amounts. I made sure to check each bud I trimmed carefully.

Thanks, VG. There is a full-size fan on all of them. You just can't see it.

Thanks for the advice. I will see what I can do with separating them but it will have to be later as I have a hair appointment at noon.

:woohoo:beautiful HG & Felonious, congratulations, phenomenal:drool:
:high-five:

Goodness there big and beautiful! They made it with a bang!

Thanks, guys. I'm looking forward to finding out the yield but first up is that I have to trim the GSCs, which is a priority as the longer hanging ones are getting pretty dry. Lots of trimming in my life these days. :laughtwo:

You absolutely remembered correctly, GDB! :goodjob: Here's your prize:

Congrats on the harvest(s) HG!
A lot of weed there!...and 9 to go...

Felonious always waters them before putting them outside these days as we've been having really windy days with 40 to 70 kilometre winds.

Any suggestions on using my digital microscope on the outside plants without the background turning pink? It's really hard to decipher whether trichomes are milky, clear or amber when everything is pink.

Now that the GSCs are out of the large tent in the laundry room, I'm going to move 3 out of 4 of the plants from the other large tent to that one and switch them to flower. And, then, I'll probably start 4 new photoperiod plants for the tent where they were.

I like having grow journals for my grows and I had hoped to keep having separate journals for each grow but I still have 11 plants left from my current grow and need to add 4 new ones so now I'm thinking that a perpetual journal might be the way to go.

Any thoughts?
That looks like the way to go to me.
