Hi SS, still loving your grow.
My opinion on when to chop, let each plant ripen appropriately. If one light finishes plants before the other, that will be noted in your journal and taken into account by viewers. But if plants are all chopped at the same time even though one set is not finished, the unfinished set will never complete, leaving an info void. The unfinished set might ultimately result in a better crop if allowed to ripen but we will never know that if they are cut.
This is a comp grow after all, not a race.
I wouldn't take down an entire crop because one plant finished early, nor would I take down all of a comp grow because one light finished early. I would even let the bottom of my plants go longer in a personal grow if they weren't ready when the top was, not that I think you should go that far with individual ripening in this comp grow.
Just my opinion, I'm happy to leave the final decision to the grower.
