Hey H00K, I haven't been avoiding your journal because I'm stuck up or anything, lol. Figured if I didn't, sooner or later I'd end up wishing you good luck and unthinkingly start a guideline-violation type discussion. So... now I'm back to pestering everyone
.
I've read encouraging reports of this strain. Would like to try it, myself. I got a wild hair and joined one of the "Community Auto-Flower Grow Threads," so I soaked and planted a Cream Caramel Auto (Sweet Seeds) recently, but I either screwed that up or the seed didn't like spending a couple(?) weeks in my attic this Summer. When I opened the tiny Ziploc to pull the seed out, I discovered that I actually had TWO of them. I'm thinking about trying again. With a name like that, it
ought to be good on the nose (and the taste buds). IDK about potency, or even the type of effect. I'm trying to keep my expectations low (in regards to all aspects of it) so that I don't end up disappointed and
might might be pleasantly surprised. Still hoping the first one comes up, but I let the cup get kind of dry and may have watered the cracked seed too far down into the soil to have a chance. Who knows, maybe I could end up with two (or none), lol.
I'm known for being...
thrifty, too, lol, but... Ten bucks a seed seems well
below cheap to me. You
do know those things turn into bud, right
? Cannabis seeds are the only items that, when I'm shopping, I try very hard to NOT look at the prices. Of course, that means that I might pick out a strain and then have to save up three months to get it.
I have occasionally realized that, "Hey, not only can I get those
right now - I can get TWO packs!" due to not looking at the prices beforehand. But, yeah... that's rare.
I wouldn't strike a strain (/breeder) from my list because it is expensive, nor would I bump one up because of price. But everything else about your recommendation of this strain is encouraging (thank you!) . It is already on my list, and I'll add another * beside it (designates another recommendation). The thought of being able to produce
head-stash quality bud from an auto-flowering strain is nice. I'm still used to expecting a (minimum of) 14- to 20-week flowering period with that descriptor - and that doesn't count vegetative time (or, at least, time to root the cuttings). Cool....
