H00k's Not So Hillbilly This Time Grow - Girlz 2017

I'm trying some of these newer 'Fast Versions' some breeders are working with.. I'm working with Sweet Seeds strain now. They introduced a tad of auto to the strain. They are supposed to be a photo plant,, but they finish by mid-Sept. I have a trial plant going,, and she will be done by mid-Sept. Next year,, if the herbs are any good, I'm going to do one of each strain. Now I have this BBxC-99 going and man she's going fast..
And the couple autos I'm doing, are doing great. I already did a harvest of acouple autos of the Early Miss from CKS,, they did pretty good, quality and quantity wise. Your girls look mighty happy. They all should be busting loose anyday now. I have acouple photo plants that just started flowering. I've already cut most nitro and started a flower reiment of ferts. GL with the girls and

Yeah...I've been following Yer' grow Woody...those look interesting for sure...these Mali Gold autos have been quite slow(by auto standards...couple days shy of 13 weeks, and 1 or 2 to go)...having said that, they are now frosting up quite nicely in the last few days...I'm putting up some pic's from last night, but I was kinda rushed(weather...again!...geeze!!) and they don't do justice...next photo op should provide a couple Macro shots of those

So...last night was watering night, but I gave all the girlz a taste of recharge(beneficial microbes) some epsom's and a bit of molasses as well...everyone is doing well, although one sugar loaf is a runt and in need of a haircut...actually, they all need a trim!...I must say my array of LED's has better penetration than previous hillbilly lights, but still wanna get lower bud sites even more light...speaking of which, raised a couple more tonight to accommodate the Mexi's and the stretching Orient ...so some pics...

So, last night was feeding night, where I usually try to get all the girlz outside(just easier for trimming and natural light photo op's)...Ma' Nature had other plans...AGAIN!!...did manage to get them fed and rearrange plants and get the remaining bigger lights raised...they are all doing good!...maybe another week for the Mali's...hope so!(mix of cloudy/clear trich's now)...really need to free up some space for the photo's...both Mali's are frosting nicely and I'm pretty sure 2 plus zips on the bigger one...nice main cola, and subsequent ones are beefing up...

Good Day!...Been a little busy...slowly harvesting the veggie garden, fishing and just general house/yard stuff...things are just moving along in the GR...lilly's and mexi's are putting on some weight, as are the sugar loafs and orient express...hopefully...the mali's can be chopped by labour day...really want to get the photo's spread out and trimmed up to maximize yield...so some pic's from the last 10 days or so...

Thats about it for now...Everyone have a great holiday weekend!...Cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

Start a couple early next year for sure, id love know how the Mexi smokes once its cured and ready. Im keeping my eye out for a decent mexican landrace but most i see are hybrid crosses.

HtH do you manage to keep dragging your plants outside and back in without bringing critters in? Seems like all I have to do is look out a freaking window and I end up with spider mites or something :icon_roll . I went out and mowed three days ago, and now there are FLEAS everywhere. Fookin bugs...

Next time I mow, I'm going to pay closer attention and see if I can't catch a couple praying mantises before the mower does, catch 'em, and turn the things loose inside. I've started to two or three times already, but the thought of sharing the place with insects that can turn their heads around to look at you, poop real turds, and live/eat/breed/fight after they've had their heads removed is a little bit creepy ;) .

BtW, plants look great :thumb: .

Thanks Bud!...I dunno'...guess the mites and such just aren't common in these parts...other than a cut worm problem this year in the veggie gardens(recently found a fix online...cut toilet paper/paper towel rolls a couple inches in height and place around new seedlings) my pest problems are pretty much nil...other than an aphid problem a couple years ago(imported via nursery hot pepper plants)...

...I find it so much easier to work on the plants outside and give them some natural sun...When I was working, I had no qualms spending some dough to run lights during the day and affording me the time to pamper them...upon retirement, frugality seemed to make sense...but after flipping and running 12/12, 7p.m. to 7a.m. it leaves less time for quality care on my schedule...Cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

Caught up and subbed up! Nice little collection of plants you got going! That neck of the woods has no shortage of water so not surprised you have humidity issues, I like your idea of running a 6" exhaust fan through a cooler with ice to combat heat, that would work nicely.

Looking forward to catching your harvests of those sweet strains
