Hey canno! Welcome in! Hope you enjoy. Ill post last fridays update for you so you dont have to flip through. Too many pages!
Here is the hermie plant after i beat it a bit! Everything looked ripe so i took the plant and beat it over the purple gsc. That one got a majority of it then i beat Chernobyl and afghan. Its pretty cool i should have taken before pics but all the pods were closed and now they are pretty much all open. Should hopefully get a good amount of seeds. As long as i get a few seeds out of the purple gsc ill be good, and ill try breeding again but hope im done with fem seeds for now.
Here is Chernobyls roots! Looking great. I tgink the airstone came loose so i put the suction cup back.

Thanks feral! They are getting close! Going to have to get that usb microscope soon. Im think mid to late june, then in goes my plants that are hiding in the closet.
Im getting closer and closer to cobs. So close i can taste it! I have my cart all set and its a lot less expensive then i thought it would be. Hope to have those going by next grow at the latest.
Those cobs are calling my name but have too much going on with doing a recirc system ill have to wait on cobs for awhile.

Hey! Alright! Getting started on them cobs!!
I was going to go with two rows of three cobs for a total of 6 cobs but the rapidled guy suggested two rows of four. He said four is right where the driver can handle so no worries there, at least i hope. It will give better light in a 4x4 then 6. If i use a 1400 he says ill be around 400 watts so im going to go with the 2100 when i get paid again and that should put out about 600 watts. Hopefully T or another cob grower can verify this.
Ill end up with two MEAN WELL HLG-320H-C2100B drivers, some reflectors and angled aluminum when I get some more cash. Itll be about $200 more for the drivers and about $50 the reflectors and holders. I may not get them after all but i can,always add them later
I have a total of 8 3500k vero29 gen7
I added molex connectors and pin heatsinks to the cobs and it added about $20 more per chip. I will daisy chain one power cord into two drivers with wago connectors.
I will make two panels of 8 cobs in a straight line with the carbon filter in the middle.
Im sceptical but im very hopeful what I just bought will give the same or better yield as what i got now.
So its looking like ill get close to 600 watts for between $600-$750.
Does anyone know of a good source for drivers. Should i just stick with rapid? Hope i got/ am getting the right stuff!
Id stick with the same supplier they already know what you have and what you're looking for.

Good call pw! Ill just wait till they get a new shipment in. No rush anyways but once its made up ill put one dormgrow panel in the closet for my veg girls and ill put one ontop of the box for a dewey system but the dewey will be a slow process as i have to save up. Ill keep two red ufos from dormgrow in with the cobs.
My seeds finally got up off their lazy ass and are coming to me. They sat in the sorting facility for almost a week! I hope to get them by next week sometime but who knows. The tracking is pretty awful. Again no rush as they will have to take a back seat until im better set up. Was going to pop them when i got it but may have to wait as something else might be in the works.

It takes 2 days to travel from Europe to the US and 2 weeks to travel 150 miles once it gets here! Lol
Excited to see what you're new lights do BF, I'm seeing a lot about these COB lights everywhere now. Bet you can't wait to get it set up.
That's ridiculous .

Yesss! Thats exactly what happened. I couldn't believe how quick it got to the states. I knew it would sit but i was shocked again with how slow our mail system is
I know right! It seems like everyone and their mom are growing with a cob now and its not even just this forum. I see it everywhere now so they must be great to catch on like that. It makes it so much easier all these great people offering guides and all the help ive gotten here regaurding lights made everything so much easier and cheaper!

Hey part! Hope all is going well for you? Its been a bit i have to stop by your journal. I cant wait to see either. Hope i have them built up for this grow but they will probably go in for my scrog next grow. Hopefully i get it done and put them up sooner then later though.
