Mix 1-2 Tbls of Big Bloom with 1 gallon of water and use that to feed your plants.

I don't think I would use 4tbls per gallon of H2O. I've always used it in conjunction with Grow Big or Tiger Bloom and the recommended dosage is 1-2 Tbls per gallon of water but I guess you might use a little more if that's all you're using.

I also don't believe I would use Big Bloom to foliar feed. It's a pretty gritty organic fert that's really best added to water and fed to the roots. You'll probably clog that spray bottle. ;)

You may need to consider something that's higher in N for foliar feeding during the veg phase. You probably don't want to foliar feed much past a few weeks into flowering either. Too much moisture is not good during flowing. Foxfarm's Grow Big works well for veg phase and Tiger Bloom works well for the budding phase. Both can be used as a foliar feed or added to water for root feeding.

I noticed Lowes selling Organic Alaskan Fish (5-1-1 maybe) which would be great for vegging and it's not that expensive. You will most likely need something high in P, like Tiger Bloom (or some other bloom nute) for the flowering phase.

Hope that helps!

yeah i have fox farms too but if you start off with 4 tbs you can have nute burn and your plant will burn a lil, and i dont think its safe just to pour it on your soil its better to mix, and yes a gallon of water usually the pros start off slowly with the nutrients. i know its late im pretty sure youll have better help in the morning people will read and they will help

Well, if that's all you got, you work with what you have. :grinjoint:

You can try 2tbls in a gallon of H2O and go from there. Feed once per week.

Big Bloom is PH balanced so it doesn't affect the PH of the H2O very much. Other products may raise or lower the PH, depending on the brand.

To get the best results, you really need different nutrients for vegging and flowering, as well as some way to test your PH so you can PH adjust everything you give them. A PH pen and some PH up/down is recommended.

There is a lot of great information in the FAQ section of this site. My advice is to read everything you can (all the stickys) and consider your first grow as a learning experience. You'll get better as you gain more experience and gather up everything you need for optimum grows.

Looking good guitron1988. You'll notice nute burn within a few hours, more or less, depending on how bad you burn them.

You don't have much to worry about with Big Bloom. It's all organic and it will take a good bit to burn your plants with that stuff. Still, it's not a good idea to overfeed. Your plant looks very healthy and happy, except for those snipped fan leaves. I would suggest you don't cut or remove fan leaves unless you must. You can gently move to them the side or use string to train them aside if you're looking to open up the canopy to get more light to lower budding sites.

Looks good so keep on doing what you're doing!!
