Several days of forecasted TS (thunderstorms) or appearance of questionable weather, so plants remained indoors more often than usual. Days are getting shorter and evenings cooler. Hours outside on those days will be decreasing. Growing both a sativa and hybrid, it's easy to tell the plants apart, respectively, the hallmark tall and skinny verse the shorter bushier.

She's 25", I've never topped before and nervous about doing it. Only had one grow before, and I cloned successfully, but not topped. I haven't cloned this time due to lack of resources. My Durban Poison is even taller at 32", 20" from light. I know I should, but I'd hate lossing the top; I'm worried I won't get rooting. I do have resources to top both, just need encouragement I guess, lol.

You def need to top your plants. Instead of having one big cola it splits the plant up and lets the other catch up. I usually top at least 6 times on main stems.

Thanks for the encouragement, and WOW, I thought topping was just done once. I'll need to read up on topping I guess so I can do it right, probably easier than I think. Thanks again.

Skipping repost of the same fixed information such as lighting, etc, even the temp and RH are within their same range for the non-controlled tent temp or humidity. No more outside time has been being given as temps and daylight time have changed. The plant is 31" tall this week however. Now for the pictures.

Thanks for the tip and compliment. I'm going to let her get to 36". I topped my Durban but not this one due to resources. Better planning next time, lessons learned.

She's got about another inch before I begin flowering at 36". The Durban Poison Mother and her will then share a tent but I'll need more lighting due to the Durban Mother (see Durban grow log dated 10/03/200 12:00 pm near bottom of page 4).

Put in flowering tent with Durban Poison today. Expected harvest December 10-17, 2020. Yesterday she measured 35", which I thought close enough to the target of 36" before flowering. I hung a second light, one vertical for Durban, and the other over the GSC. I rotate both plants 1/4 turn every 6 hours of light time.

Thursday the 15th was week 1 of flower. I used Bush Master Monday for her first dose of that, and then General Hydroponics Flora furts Thursday. Might be a bit aggressive. Going with straight water next time, then GH again. Doing great along with GDP and Durban Poison in flower tent. GSC pictured below.

Expected harvest 12/10-17/20. Expect a great harvest. See the Durban Poison link for harvest expected in three days from today's date, she's a monster. I topped that one, which was my first time. Now that I understand topping and see difference, I'll top from now on. Unfortunately, the GSC wasn't topped.
