This my big girl. Grand daddy purple. She by far the tallest and thickest stemmed. Was going to bend her over but it just doesnt seem fair. I have a question about topping still thou. When talking about nodes, is this where fan leaves come from the stem, or new branches?

So I grow from seed so I’m not positive it will be the same with a clone. I will see if my cuttings survive. I’m super jealous of your gdp I have some seeds in a cart but dang they are pricey though lol. Anyway. As the plant grows vertically and new leaves form at the very leading tip, the fan leaves grow and open and the stem continues up and new growth starts at the point or node where the fan leaf meets the stem. I wait until the main stem is about 1.5” long and cut about .5” above the node. This will leave you with the new growth on either side of the stem that will turn into 2 stems. Make sense?
