Growing Without Bloom Nutes By Farside05

Just do it! For us if not for you. :)

Well that was a bust. I sent off the E-mail and 20 minutes later I get an undeliverable message back. The company does have a phone number, I guess I could try to call.

Bit of an issue, I've got 5 photos up now and only 3 autos. Of course I can't fit but 4 in a tent. So I have an extra photo and short an auto. Still hoping one of these other autos come up. I have someone that will take any extras that sprout.

My bag of Orchidgain (similar to MSU fertilizer) took on a bit of moisture so I decided to buy a bag of the actual MSU fertilizer, along with some Potassium Sulfate powder.

I had a buddy's dad (82 yrs old) that was on opioid pain pills for a long time. His doctor recently cut him off. He told my buddy to try to find him some on the black market. I convinced him to try gummies instead. The verdict...he didn't buy any pills on the black market and is now using canna gummies instead. That's the third person now that I've gotten off those damn pills, and I'm very proud of that fact.

I ran into a good seed sale today and stocked up. Everything I wanted was 25% off and then I payed via crypto and got my order doubled for free. I picked up:

10 Zkittlez photos
10 Chemdog photos
10 Blue Dream photos
10 Zkittlez autos
10 Original Glue autos

$160 for 50 seeds. Not bad at all, $3.20 a seed average!

The proposed full strength feed breakdown for this grow using 4g MSU fertilizer, 5ml Faux-Tekt®, 1g Potassium Sulfate. You can see from the stand alone column (bottom right) on how it compares to my standard regiment of 6g Mega Crop and 5ml Faux-Tekt®. The new schedule is less P and more S, otherwise very similar.

Orchidgain has no Sulfur
Have you looked at their RoseGain? NPK is 12-6-13 with 11.9% sulfur. The company that makes it is BGI, Bougainvillea Growers International. They have a whole line of “Gain” fertilizer.

The Rosegain is a less complete formula. It has no Calcium, which is probably harder to rectify supplement wise. My bag of MSU fertilizer and Potassium Sulfate came in yesterday and the 2nd tent Chicken came in today. Tomorrow I make a batch of Faux-Mix®, clean the weed lab, and transplant babies. So probably a bunch of pics then.

Made some Faux-Mix® for the new grow. When I originally looked to see how much lime I should add, the majority of opinions was 1-2 Tsp per gallon. I've always done the 2, but this time I cut it back towards the minimum since I'm using a fertilizer that's predominantly Nitrate Nitrogen which will cause a upward pH drift.

Everyone got transplanted into 5 gal bags and watered in with 2g MSU fertilizer, .5g Potassium Sulfate, and 1/4 tsp Superthrive. As I'm writing this I realized that I forgot the Faux-Tekt® this watering. The Superthrive isn't an every watering thing. I'll use it 3-4 times a grow. Still unsure if it's really beneficial, but I bought some at the beginning of the last grow so I'm using it up. Last grow did produce well, so we'll see what happens this time. Lights were dialed to 20k lux at plant tops.

Considering those chickens are hand-carved by artisans in Iowa, they really look identical! And since the plants are looking nice and green I'm guessing they'll have the same effect on the grow.

:welldone:

I don't think these are hand carved, and they say Made in China.

Plants didn't really need a drink today but got one anyhow. Some of the bigger ones were a paler shade of green, showing that they were wanting more nitrogen. Rather than wait, I hit them with 3g MSU, .7g Potassium Sulfate, 4ml Faux-Tekt ®. Should work out to about 100ppm of N.

My big seed order came in earlier than expected. I dropped 2 Zkittlez Autos and 2 Original Glue Autos. Gonna give away the 3 Northern Lights x Big Bud Autos and a Sensi Skunk Fem Photo to a buddy who's seed order was confiscated at customs. Paying it forward and switching to strains I'm more interested in right now. Should only set me back a couple weeks.
