That's so soothing! Our gardens are healing us! ☺️ In more ways than one...

Peaceful blazing...

My garden wouldn't be complete without the Bumble that Bee. Thank you for such a great message. I am having a rough week, but messages from my garden friends keep me going. I will be posting soon. The pics I have are so much better, but now I have to chose wisely. There is so much to share in updates and mishaps that this should be a great learning post to look back on, it just takes so long to prepare when my brain is broken and focusing is extremely hard without an icepack strapped to my head. Which would look pretty funny on me I must say.

Mr. Bumble that Bee, I have set up some water throughout the garden that is especially for you. Bee-size water stations. Angry Bird, I have set out some luxury reclining nests so you can look over the garden and keep it safe. With our combined efforts we shall grow many gardens fit for many shhhmokin nights. Happy healing and green growing to the massive! My garden wouldn't BEE that same without you...lol

What’s Update – Organic Plant & Personal Growth Progress – Thursday Aug 18, 2016
:welcome:

It’s that time of the week to post some beauties. I am a bit late reporting this update but I think once you see the pictures you’ll surely understand. It’s been a roller coaster so strap in and hang on.

What am I grateful for? My husband says that my plants look amazing and when I look at them I can really see how impactful this 420 forum friends have been. My plants are light years ahead of where I started and that’s because of you!

Quote of the week: “THANK YOUUUU hahahaha just/kidding”
:thanks:

My humble garden of positive change awaits you…

1. Type: Afghan Kush Clone (Remaining Grow #4)

Week: 14

Days:
95 – (25 days flower)

Name: Clonepatra - (This grow is dedicated to Growlow – Thank you for teaching me)

Technique: Clone, FIM & LST

What have I learned:
Clones take half the time to grow but often times you end up with half the outcome unless you take the time to perfect your production flow. Clones need roots and plenty of them. Cutting the outter tips of the clones’ fan leaves will focus the plant energy on the roots. Start clones off in a small cup in order to promote root rejuvenation in the eventual form of a root ball. Clones live off of water and adding nutes will yellow the plant.

Growth Comments: Well what a surprise Miss Thang! This clone has filled out quite nicely. Her bud sites have doubled since the last journal entry. She thrived with bloom nutes and is why I think it’s growing so quickly. I didn’t think she would make it to be honest, but now I see her coming into her own, with dark purple buds and angel white pistols reaching for the sky. Although she won’t be the same size as her mother, due to my mistakes, she is my first clone experiment (with the help from 420 friends) and will reach this harvest as a dark horse. So far, I would deem this experiment successful.

2. Type: Purple Kush

Week: 18

Days: 137 days (25 days flower)

Name: (This grow is dedicated to SNID – Thank you for lighting up my life)

Technique:[/B] FIM/Scrog/LST

What have I learned: The scrog method is great if you have the space. I thought doing a mini scrog would be easy but it still proved to be quite large in perimetre. Now keeping that in mind, this scrog method has allowed me to grow such beautiful flowers and hold them up to the sky. These purple kush flowers are the reward for figuring out what growing cycle and nutes she prefers. Especially being organic, I needed to watch my ph and humidity to avoid bugs. I might try the scrog again if I can build a proper tent in the other room that can handle the size. I wouldn’t say that I followed the proper technique of the scrog, but I have achieved a balance with my PK that I have not had before. That is hopeful and I’ll make sure to note this grow as a success so far, knock on wood. Lol.

Growth Comments: This PK (scrog ) Goddess was going great until I added bloom nutes now it is yellowing really fast. I haven’t used bloom nutes before on the PK and here are the results, just a yellow fellow. I have since moved her back to just water and will watch her closely. Thankfully my flowers are still good but I must make a note to self, do not use bloom nutes on this plant when it goes to flower. The flowers are exceptional and have been slightly clipped on the tips to encite a denser bud through the backbuilding technique I saw on Pigeons420 vids. So helpful! I had added some fabulous photos for bud burlesque. Not so much into porn bud, but would be happy to submit my PK as bud burlesque…lol.

3. Type: CB Dream (Grow #3)

Week: 18

Days: 137 days (25 days flower)

Name: (This grow is dedicated to SNID – Thank you for lighting up my life)

Technique: FIM/Scrog/LST

Growth Comments: This CBD darling of a plant has taken off on a growth spurt of pistols that she is just wow-ing me at the moment. She wants her bloom nutes and has benefited greatly on feedings every 3 days. I remember at the beginning she had a mutant leaf and I wrote about it because it grabbed my eye. Now as she excels in the flower stage she has a mutant flower head that reminded me of the mutant leaf, I wonder if they are related. I don’t know if this is special or just a result of me unknowingly bending the head, but I don’t ever remember any physical impacts that may have occurred. She is almost like a dragon head with a snout and pout. Growing to approx.. 6 inches in height her fiddlehead flower is bending and now the bud leaves are pointing out the side. I have posted some better pics to show you how lovely she truly looks.

4. Type: Purple Kush (Remaining Grow #5)

Week: 15

Days: 93 – 25 days flower

Name:
Valerie (This grow is dedicated to SNID – Thank you for teaching your techniques)

Technique: FIM & LST

Growth Comments: I know that I put her into flower too early, but the bloom nutes is frying this lovely lady just like my other PK. Straight up, PK’s don’t like bloom nutes. She was thriving on the vegetation nutes but as soon as I added bloom nutes she’s yellowing like it was the fall already. Her buds are small, I wonder if I should even keep her around because she is taking up space and light. But it’s hard to just cut her down. I will watch her more carefully in the upcoming days and decide is she is worth my effort, and limited light and space. She is high stressed so I don’t blame her protest, but now I know PK’s don’t like bloom nutes, at an early, mid or late flowering stage. I will figure this strain out sooner than later because her challenges become my goals to overcome in the next planting.

*Thanks for supporting my garden by stopping by. Now off to see how you guys are making this world a better place to grow.

The yellowing seems to be simply nitrogen def. Just add a tad of your grow nutes to help slow that down. It's not a major issue one into flowering since bud formation relies mostly on P and K. It's a little early to be losing leaves, but mine are almost bare except the top few leaves on each cola and the new growth. Dont cut her life short, she'll produce for you... She looks great at canopy level :thumb:

KiG :green_heart:cheers

That's the problem Snid, she was on water when she first entered flowering, then I added 2.4.4 bloom and she started yellowing right away. So I don't know what I did to cause that...but I'll give her more nutrients. Thanks so much!

Ohhhh, maybe I cut the nitrogen off too soon, I will feed her again tonight, she is beggin' for it. It takes a while for me to understand, now I get it. ;)

When you did water only, did you flush her? You probably removed the N built up in the soil and she needed it still for the Stretch. I wouldn't try to over feed nitrogen to get her back, but just add a small portion to your bloom nutes for the next couple feedings. Imo. Otherwise she looks great. They all do!

Snid, I'm such an idiot, as I go through my garden I'm wondering why, why, can my beautiful PK be so yellow, turns out, she's waaaay too close to my light, darn near just over-heating her. I would say a tad inpatient on my side. I have lowered my plants slightly, where they were originally started in the flower stage. I also rotated my plants and rearranged them so the yellow plants on the outside and greener plants in the centre, just to try and slow down the yellowing. This is the first time using this light properly, well improperly, where I have to try to keep the plants 24-36 inches away...right? They were almost 12 inches, even some of the trich's are slightly fried and that is what gave me the clue. I fed everyone proper bloom nutes and at a proper light distance. I will check on them in an hour and see how they are. Man, I am overthinking with a broken brain. Try not to be so hard on myself, when all I can do is laugh at myself for being so serious.

If you didn't question me in the great way that you do, I never would have investigated my processes. It is my first time, so thanks for making me think about it again.:thanks:

Hey GTHM, I'm caught up again after a mishap with a broken PC kept me offline (I need to reread pages sometimes and on the phone I find it painful). Anyway I hope that your week has got better and that you are feeling well. The plants should recover fairly quickly from the touch of light burn, hopefully everything should be looking green and beautiful again soon enough. Wishing you all the best and sending over some positive energy :thumb:

Yellowing has stopped and buds still look like new. Correct me if I'm wrong, I would say my buds frost is about 40% with crystal clear pistols to lead the way. I did see a few amber hairs on other buds so my flowering stage is about half way. Gosh I hope I can make this happen. I am really so excited to see this through. This is like choosing my own adventure. Here are some pics from an hour ago, they just woke up and asked for a feeding. Down that hatch with bloom nutes 50% and water 50%. Just a waiting game now. Thanks for the help and kudos, it means so much to me. May your gardens harvest and your visions materialize.:thanks:
