I'm waiting to see how you hang lights.
An 8' span of pvc pipe doesn't seem to have the rigidity, but the crossed poles in the center may fix that.

Theres no PVC in this tent at all.. All metal poles.

OKay Rado, here you go, this is what the roof structure looks like inside the tent.

The carbon filter/exhaust fan is hung on these support beams:

Can hang filter/fan on either side:

Hope that gives you somewhat of an idea of where my lights will hang.. Not really i'm sure. At least the pictures give you a sense of the light hanging beams as well as the added support of the metal pole construction in this tent.

If you want one, the place that i bought it from (which is a local place here) they ship international, and it was like $250 for a 8'x8'x6.5'. Other sizes are 8'x4'x6.5' ($200) and 4'x4'x6.5' ($150) like my LED tent

The instructions on the 8x8 tent say to put it together with 4 people. They mean use 4 people to lift the top frame onto the bottom frame. I did it by myself by building the bottom frame then adding the upper corner pieces follower by each side piece attached to a corrner piece, then to the "T" to connect both corners. It was ridiculously easy. Now i just got to put together the CoolTubes and figure out where i'm putting the ballasts outside the tent somehow, and i'm almost ready to rock. I seriously need the AC unit as well as my order of Aquashield which both should arrive this week coming up

It looks like you bought a quality product. The zippers for top/middle/bottom are a convenient, classy touch.

Since I have an unfinished basement, throwing up short 2x4 stud walls is fast and cheap.

And yes, the 28 gallon Brute Rubbermaid container I want to use are at both home deport and lowels, so Im sure thats the one you saw. Its about 24-30 inches high... Here ya go...

Your monster tent came together easy. Now all you need is a DWC in there!!

Nah I haven't ordered my AC yet. Its a statutory holiday today and i'm pretty sure my branch of my bank is closed today.. So i have to wait till tomorrow to deposit some cash into the account to cover the cost of the AC.

but I will be ordering that shit tomorrow! i should have it this week with Scamazon's shipping options. Also, my Aquashield order will be in this week too!

around the 15th is when i think the journals will start, as i will have the money to either buy all my fans and filters off the internet, or the fans and filters i have been waiting for at the local warehouse place i got my tents at to come into stock. Personally, i'm getting tired of being told they'll be in this day they'll be in this day.. I just want them damnit! so i can set it up and do a couple dry runs in the tent and see how the temps are.

You know, the height on that trash bin is very tall. 2-2.5 feet? with the light that hangs probaby almost a foot from the top, thats like 3 feet of growing space.. i might as well still be growing in my grow box at that point.

I'm thinking of using like a RubberMaid Toughbox storage tote. they're wide as hell so the plant can grow wide and support itself, they're also like a foot tall, and hold something like 26gal of water. Although Lady GT says we should grow it in a trash can, i just think that the trash bin is too tall for the 6.5' in headspace i have. plant will literally be like barely 2 feet tall but like 6ft+ in diameter!!

Also got to remember i'll have the Widow in the big tent as well, so i'm probably going to have to buy a 3rd 600w HID package for the Widow, then use the 2 other 600w lights for the 1 or 2 THC bomb we grow.. Damn this is going to be an awesome grow i think!

I actually did see the tote your talking about. Same size gallon wise, but half the height. After taking some measurements this afternoon, I realized that the bin I wanted to use will only give me 3 feet of growing room max. So I think that I will be getting the same one you mentioned instead. There are a few things we need to take into account. The lid on the smaller bin isn't flat. It has some ridges and bends all over it. So we need to make sure to make our cuts for the net pots EXACTLY in the center.

Next, we have to also take the res size and height into consideration, Your res water level, and all your tote water levels need to be at the same height. So with the smaller totes that are only 1-2 feet off the ground, we have to make the res at the same height. You can use wood to add a few inches of height if needed. Also, If its a RDWC, then the water lines from the res to the totes have to be angled slightly down and away towards the bins so gravity does all the work for you.

I know HygoHybrid's video is long, but give it a view. It goes over in detail how to build a system like this. Then we can tweak it to our specific needs

Do you think you will be able to get another 600watt light into the monster tent? If so , you will most deffinitly need that ac.
You said your lights are air cooled right? If so, if its pulling air from the cool apt, it should help to stabilize the temps.

Go on YouTube and check out medgrower1's video on his RDWC. It's almost like the UnderCurrent DWC system I've seen online, but it has additional waterfall on each side of the bucket. It's pretty cool. Don't even need an airstone in each bucket cause the waterfall effect provides plenty of oxygenation to the growing bucket. Put a big airstone in the res and you're good. His pump does all the work. No need for gravity to do anything. Only thing that you have to be careful of is that the ground is level under the buckets. That's all

I have seen his videos. He grows almost the same as Hygro. Well, how about you build a system like Medigrower, and Ill build mine like Hygro. They will be very close to the same set up except for the method of recirculating and aerating the water. Then we can see how the ladies compare. Either way, there are going to be some monster bushes in our tents!!!
