In a couple days, the entire 1000sqft apartment will be nice and cool, with the 2 rooms the grows will be in being noticeably cooler, since the AC will be in one room pushing cold air into the other one and eventually back into the living room.. I have sort of a plan here with the AC and how the air flow will work.

Let me tell you.. 64f air being blown on you is hella cold compared to the ridiculous temperature it is in the apartment here.


Thanks Rado for the reps. I got a feeling she will be a serious contender in 2 months for Octobers POTM contest. Might even wait till shes fully ripened and just before harvest to take the pics for the contest. she may need to be entered for November for optimal Winning chances. Also by that time, i will have 2 THC bombs, BC SweetTooth as well as my widow clones and the seedlings from my created seeds to pick and choose from to enter POTM with! Althought i got a feeling, this widow will be one amazing looking plant during flowering.

Anyways. not much to update tonight.. The AC is working its magic. The entire apartment is noticeably cooler. If i had it in a certain room, i'm sure it would make that room super cold in a shorter time period, but i'm not going to complain.

Now come on you god damn fans!!! i needs you! I wanna get a-growin'!

Just a little update on my Widow lady.

I took some pics of her the other day and i forgot to post them.

So here they are!

Shes pushing 6 months of veg time. The last picture shows how tall she is from the top of the 5gal bucket.

Heres a birds eye view. i think this is a great shot. I considered entering her on the POTM contest, but i'll wait till she's fat with buds in about 2 months!

And the picture to show the height!

Fans will be either picked up tomorrow from the place locally i got my tents from, or they will be ordered tomorrow from Scamazon and here by the end of the week, or monday!

I am very grateful for the LED you sent me to review. That journal will most likely start next week or the week after, depending when i germinate the seeds and get the grow going!! I actually could start doing that very soon, since i will be getting my fans at the end of the week or by monday. Today is Wednesday!! damn i better get on the germinating!!

And the White Widow is not in flower yet. I will put her under 12 hours light/12 hours dark in probably 2-3 weeks when the scrog is ready and the tent is running. I might top her in a few more places as well to get the height down. I have about 5-7 inches from the canopy to the CoolTube as of right now. I'm going to tie down branches and put a scrog over top of her to keep the plant from stretching into the light. This particular Widow doesn't stretch lots, so i'm thinking i'll be a-okay! Then, i estimate she will take 10 weeks before being fully ripened for harvest.

Hey everyone.. just a quick update here on the Grow box

AS some of you may know, i am NOT running my clones in the grow box. I want to do them some serious justice and the only way to do that is put them under a 600w MH and veg them, and then switch in the HPS and flower them out... In the tent!! i need to give these plants some actual space to grow.. some actual airflow. I want them to produce some good, fully matured buds this time around. I estimate i will flower them at least 10 weeks this time. Which means i need to get that huge Widow into flower so i can be ready for my upcoming Monster RDWC with Cannabis 1.

I have a small picture update. The seedlings in the grow box are being finicky. I'm thinking i am going to toss the grow box into storage until the cold of the winter, then i'll run a series of clone runs from 12/12 or maybe like a month veg time before switching the lighting schedule to 12/12.

I topped one seedling today.. Maybe i FIM'd it? i'm pretty sure its a FIM. I was attempting to top at a small level ( couldn't do it on the other 2 that are thriving cause theres growth in the way that i dont want to cut!) i will wait till tomorrow or wednesday to top the other 2 healthy looking seedlings. i have 8 seedlings. 1 looks dead, its a WWxGWS. The other two are growing just like their mother.. all fucked up looking and scraggly looking leaves. But it turned out to be a nice looking plant. Reading up on the genetics of the GWS.. its a White Widow crossed with a Super Skunk. so its almost like i back crossed it haha! Kinda makes sense since its growing just like the plant that was pollinated, and nothing similar to the GWS plant.

THE CLONES!

The clones are looking really good under the LED at the moment, although its a smaller LED panel. I topped 2 of them yesterday and i am about to transplant one of them into a 4" net pot.

Here they are! Some are with the LED on.. the rest are with the LED off and a couple of a root shot:

In about 2-3 weeks, they will all need another transplanting into larger pots. I'm still not sure as to their final growing type and such as of yet. If push comes to shove, i'll just toss em in their own bucket and an airstone and grow em in DWC. but i'm really wanting to try the RTF.. Only problem is i cant run 8 water pumps, one for each plant, so i would have to put them on a flood table and do one big res and probably cut down my clone number from 8 to 4 and do a 4 ring watering system for the plants and grow them in rockwool grow cubes in a Super Roots air pot. Put a 4'x4' scrog overtop as well.

I have yet again increased my dreams and goals and plans for the tent. The GF wants to grow her OG kush soon, and frankly, i think its time she gets to doing something around the grow. So what i plan to do, is rearrange some shit thats plugged into the walls, and run a cord from a outlet thats a dedicated 20amp circuit and run my 2 600w's off there, and then add a 3rd one as well. I pick up and install my fans on Wednesday, so its time to get moving on my shit!

Things to do in the next week:

- Top the Widow in a few more places to even the canopy and get it a little lower.
- Start tying down branches and open up the middle bud sites, and also get the canopy even lower.
- Build 4'x4'x4.5'(tall) scrog.
- Build a drain/fill hole in a 5gal bucket for easier res changes once plant is set in scrog.
- decide how i'm growing the clones.
- Set up fans and exhaust and light proof all flaps and openings.
- Rearrange AC so its directly in the rooms with the grows, thus cooling off all the rooms.
- Move grow box to different place in the apartment and attach ducting to exhaust holes and vent hot air outside of apartment


I also have a plan for my VEG area too. Once the widow is out, I am going to take the wooden frame semi-apart and rebuild it a bit wider and make it more airtight by adding sides to it and a roof.. I also plan to add a small extraction fan into the new veg cab to help keep the temps down. Not sure if i will go LED for the veg area or stick with the 600w, but upgrade to a cooltube perhaps.


anyways.. lots of journalling tonight.. i will have to play catch up to everyone else's journals!!

the 2 journals are just starting to kick off now, with the Widow journal for my large plant waiting to start. That will be a very short journal, as everyone that followed my first grow knows how that widow was grown and such.. Its basically just to document how much the plant stretches in flower, as well as to see how much buds this plant yields with a 6 month veg period.

These couple runs with the large widow plant as well as the clones, will give me a good idea if i in fact want to keep this strain going in the catalog. I'm hoping the Sweet Tooth is a winner too, cause its a fast flowering plant that has some caked up buds that come with a heavy heavy stone when smoked. I hope those other 2 beans crack!

I will actually have THREE journals going at once.. One for the 165w LED... One for the Clones/seeds i made and a third journal starting later today documenting the flowering of the White Widow

Lady GT will also have her own journal going as well, and i might actually do a Journal for an OG kush as well alongside Lady GT.

So that would be 3 or 4 journals for me, and 1 for the Lady. Will be a busy busy house here!!

Okay everyone.. i have an update!


About 10 minutes ago (while cooking some tasty homemade burgers) set up of the monster tent was complete.

It took a bit of re configuring, rearranging and reassurance from the GF that it was going well. After moving around a couple of extension cords, I now have the TWO 600w CoolTubes running with the HPS bulbs in and the 2 fans running at full speed, without a hitch or a tripped breaker!!

Now i just need a spot for the air pump to go (outside of the tent) and i will move in the Widow tonight before lights out, and after i do a res change!

I will also start a new journal later this evening documenting this flowering cycle.

Time to go clean out the tent now!! So many damn boxes!

Got the Monster tent all set up and running and got the Widow in her new home. I tied down some branches to open up the canopy as well as bring the overall height of the plant down..
