Graytail's Cupwinners in High Brix Soil - 4x4 - 600W HPS - Perpetual

LEDs! :surf:

:Hookah:

Wait till you smoke that brix weed, grown with LEDs.
I can't think of anything better, really. That may be the end point for me too.
The best soil, with the best light...indoors anyway :circle-of-love:

I had to come back to say, I'm keepin an eye on that Destroyer. She's going to be something special, I thinks.... :circle-of-love:

Very nice pic's, Gray...some beautiful plants!

And...uh...oh...someone's now emitting light from some diode's!

Looking forward to the new journal...

Thanks Shrike - yep, things have a rosy glow around here now. :cheesygrinsmiley:

such a beautiful garden. those flowers look tasty.

Thanks, B! I wish I could pass this Carnival around for everyone. :blunt:

Yeah, quite an incredible update buddy. It is always a pleasure to see the way your plants grow and the way you capture their beauty.
:cheertwo:

Thank you for your support Relaxed. I sure enjoy watching you grow!

Looks mighty bright under the new light. Look forward to learning the details. :)

Comin' right up!

Heheh, we do seem to have similar taste in plants. And I'm thinking the same thing about the best - I went with the whiz-bang hightech Intelligent-Gro programmable panel. :laughtwo: So I'm now running the most advanced soil tech and LED tech, both. :slide:

Here's the new journal:

Your update was awesome too my friend. That Carnival is looking obscenely frosty. The WW is nice man, she'll come together, and won't look potent, but will punch you straight in the face. I've been mixin her with GLP incidentally, so if CC is flat, I'll zip her up with some WW. I'm subbed above of course...Page one ! ;)

:bravo:Gray

Gray, is your Destroyer from Cannabiogen? They say it's an extremely potent 100% sativa bud bred from Colombian/Mexican x Meao Thai.

CareStaker, CC is not flat, it's very happy and uplifting kind of weed actually without any raciness. You can still feel the indica bottom, but only a little bit. My recently harvested buds have one of the fruitest expression in smell I've ever come across. They do not even resemble weed, it's just pure blueberry bubblegum smell. Pretty amazing :)

That's the one! ~

It definitely has an indica bottom - more than I like - but the flavor is great, I agree. :cheesygrinsmiley: I didn't dislike the strain - just not one of my favorites.

For those who've used Herbies, is it big hassle to ask them for a replacement? I had one seed fail in the first order of six, another one in the second order, and now two failed in this last order. I know it depends on the grower's skills, but I dug up the Nexus and it was definitely a dud.

I don't know if they're responsible. It's not like you can "candle" a seed to be sure it's viable - there've gotta be duds.

And I've read in passing, that they're really good about makings things right. Just wondering how nitpicky it gets. The site says to send it back for a refund and they'll reimburse the shipping (?). I'd settle for a voucher for the next order.

Duds are from same strain?

Nope, all different strains, different orders, different everything. I have no issue with like a 10% failure rate, but it was running 15% (again, ok, fine I guess) and now I lose two out of five? Both Utopia Hazes sprouted, the Blue Blood failed, Destroyer sprouted and Nexus failed.

Besides, that Nexus was never going to sprout - had nothing to do with anything else.

I guess I'll contact them. I hate the whole return/refund exercise, but I really wanted to run these two. Bah.

You might not have to do anything on your side beside send an email. They usually don't need you to send anything back.

That'd be great. I'll see what happens and let y'all know. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Ludweed has a good point. That's the wording from the site - about damage in transit, nothing about germination, since they aren't sold for that purpose. I guess mine must have gotten damaged in transit. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks for the headsup!

Also consider that the temperature isn't controlled in "transit". It gets very hot in those cargo holds. So if it isn't crushed, it could still very well have been sterilized. I had about 7 duds as well for the Maui Waui and Swiss Cheese. Never got riled up enough to complain, just kind of how it goes sometimes. Just need to grow a bigger and better plant with the other seeds to make up for it ;)
