I'll need a couple weeks to properly judge it. The long pheno is definitely better than the short one - a better high, more yield, more trichs, etc.

There's something in the buzz that's odd. :hmmmm: I sort of lose track of time for a period after the rush fades. It's not like a stoned stupor thing, more like I just don't remember what I was doing. I did stuff, etc, jus' don' recall it. It seems like it's genuinely in the 20% THC range - has good legs - lasts a couple hours, easy.

Neither of mine had strong terps, but they're improving in the jar, so we'll see. It has a sort of buttery taste with a sour finish on the tongue, and a spicy green scent in the fresh buds. I'm thinking it's mostly B-ocimene and limonene, with mircene providing the floral side.

I'll have it in rotation in the smoking tray for a few weeks, so I'll have a better idea later.

I tried my Deadly Sativa tester last night. I cut it at 9 weeks. The plant is at 10 now but still has quite a few white pistols and she's slowed her water intake. I may take it today if I get to it. I'm pulling the Thai Chi and Bubba today too so I may let her ride another week. I can't place the taste yet but I know it's not butter, I was kinda hoping for that. It's got a lung clearing effect to it. I took 2 hits and was really high so I took 2 more. There is an adrenaline rush that makes you sit straight up. After about an hour it kinda settles in and I was locked in on the football game. I enjoyed the ride but it faded at about 2 hours. There was no heaviness to it and it just kinda faded away so it is a good daytime strain. Overall it was very enjoyable. During the 1st hour I was thinking man I shoulda cloned this and was planning a reveg but the 2nd half of the buzz I didn't find remarkable so I'll probably just let it go. It looks like I'll get 6-7 zips so I'll have it for a while anyway. I'd say it was worth growing and would consider doing it again. I think I'll try the Lambs Pupil before popping another Deadly seed.

Very close to my reaction. It's one of the better sativa hybrids I've grown, and I can certainly recommend it. Apparently there's quite a bit of variety in the phenos, but my 2 and yours all seem to have a similar high. I think my short one is less buzzy maybe.

But I've become a snob, and I already know what I like best and have them on hand, so I'll probably run another small one from the clones and move on to another new strain. I have a GojiPupil ready for chop in a few weeks with a clone to follow, and a new StarPupil from seed.

Currently, I'm more interested in getting some Y Griega again - just flipped 'er a few days ago. :slide:


[Edit] Oh, and Bluniverse is growing on me. You may have to try that one. :bongrip:

Yes it is, ha ha, I’m waiting on my next harvest in a month or so. All three plants are in the flower room. I’ve never had any buds tested before. I need to look up if I should bring fresh or dry buds?? I assume dried buds.

I test them as soon as they are dry which is about 10-14 after harvest. The longer you cure them the more THC will be present. I don't mean they get more potent you just won't have as much THCA, the cure converts THCA into THC. They have a formula to convert THCA to THC. If you want to test terpenes I'd test as soon as possible, those dissipate over time.

Hi Krip! It started a few weeks ago it seems. There’s been some change with YouTube vids and copy protection stopping embedded playback. The site mods here are working on it.
