Graytail's 3rd: 4x4, HiBrix, Latest LED Tech, Lots Of Light!

They do seem to get all frantic and wild-eyed from the ... um ... discomfort, don' they? Seems like they're reduced to simply oozing trichs just before the end of it all.

Now I just have to figure out how to keep 'em pretty while that's goin' on. It's not always pretty.

:Namaste:

I can't help but think it's like this. Graytail has clones with Victoria's Secret supermodel genetics, and he is one of the best supermodel trainers in the world. He works them out, feeds them well, does all he things that one would do to create a supermodel. Unfortunately his supermodel training center is in the middle of a mosquito infested swamp.

So he makes long legged models who are curvy in all the right places, they are just covered in mosquito bites. So yeah I would totally take A Victoria's Secret supermodel with mosquito bites...but it would be awesome if she didn't have them! Once Graytail gets rid of them as I am sure he will, the models will be even more lovely.

I swear, if you ever do get rid of those whiteflies, you will own the PotM contest whenever you decide to enter.

LOL, thanks guys.

I like your analogy, Shiggity.:cheesygrinsmiley: Uh huh. But they clean up real nice - more like pigeon poop, maybe.

:laughtwo: I love the way your mind works Shiggity.

Well, hidey-ho to the Mayor of Frost City. Forgive my oversight of your update Graytail. I lost track of my days. I think I also fell asleep. :laughtwo:

Congrats on that wild and wonderful Freddy's Best. :high-five: What are you doing now, a harvest every week? It certainly feels like it. :laughtwo: if you're having a problem with storage I have an empty cupboard you could use. Haha! A girl has nothing to lose in offering. The primal scream comment gave are a good chuckle. Lol!

I swear Graytail, I'm tempted to show up with tweezers and a Baggie and pick those danged whiteflies off myself one-by-one. Not cool at all. I don't see whiteflies listed on the spinosad bottle. Why the spinosad?

You know I agree with Major. Beat this infestation and give the rest of the competition a run for their money. We're all chomping at the bit to vote for you again. But only for a deserving specimen, mind you. :battingeyelashes:

Alright, thanks for the distraction. Such a good friend. Back to study mode. :ciao:

I have another set of update pics. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I still have whiteflies but they're no longer the danger they were. The climate is changing and the environment has become hostile to them, so the population is back to its mildly annoying self. The plague has moved on! *mutter*

I think though, that all this leaf damage came from the spinosad foliars. Nothing reacted right away but these brown dessicated leaves are more than dry air or funky soil. It didn't seem to have affected the important stuff - no sign of pistil damage for instance - but the fans slowly began to malfunction starting at the tips.

But things are still moving along. :cheesygrinsmiley: Freddy's Best got the chop a few days ago and will probably be ready for the jars tomorrow. I'll get weights and more pics for y'all later.

CarnivalA is due next week but she looks a bit slow. I think the flies sucked a lot of energy out of this grow. Yield will be down. But the stress is also increasing potency - Freddy's has a solid kick, as have the last couple harvests. :slide:

And right behind, or maybe in tandem, comes CarnB2. After trimming most of the crispy dead crap off, she has a certain ample allure to her, doncha think? She looks like she's gonna get all greasy n stuff, too. Papa likes. :cheesygrinsmiley:

I'm going to have to make room for some more of these DrGs in the next round. It's a lovely cooperative plant to grow, and a refined smoke which expresses its genetics with beautiful clarity and balance - a great blend!

And I put Rio in with the big girls today. :cheesygrinsmiley: But I just may take her out tomorrow and upcan her into a 15 gallon bin of soil. Got the itch to run a big pot ... we'll see.

Looking great GT! Just want to let you know that I was going through my grow thread today to look for a certain picture and I stumbled across your post telling me to top dress EWC when I recharge. I forgot on this round too, but went ahead and did it today. Thanks again!

I hope you do go with a 15 gallon for the Rio Graytail. She looks like she could explode with that much root space. Do it!!! :slide:

That CarnB Cut2 is incredible! Made my mouth water.

So, talking about taster plants, thinking about bigger pots. Maybe it's time for a shift, a change, something completely different. Just so long as you're still here and still growing. :battingeyelashes:

Thanks for the wonderful diversion Graytail. I still have some writing to do, so later. :ciao:

Damn GT,
Awesome as always. Tight reportage as usual.
:nicethread:

:thanks: Thanks y'all!

That Freddy really put out for you, can't wait for the smoke report. And I am so thankful that the whiteflies are on the decline. CarnB2 is shining bright!

If you had to get rid of all but one strain...which would you keep?

Fun question! :cheesygrinsmiley: It's actually been on my mind lately. I'm coming up to 3 years of growing - 71 plants and 35 strains - and I was online last night looking over another seed buy and ... hmm ... wasn't coming up with much that I felt passionate about. :hmmmm: After all this, Carnival is still my strain. I've run a whole bunch of sativas and I like them, but none of them have had the punch I get from Carnival. In addition, I always want to have something like Destroyer or DrGrinspoon onhand. They both have that great Mex/Thai buzz.
