GratefulBud's Summer 2023 Outside Grow

Keep that prophylactic treatment up. Even when you don’t think they need it. It was game changing for me.
Really hope I learn this time . . .

Me: They look really good this week. I think I'll not spray for bugs.
Bugs: Fuck Yeah! Party on GB's plants!

I know that pain all too well.

At first I was skeptical of SIP.
I was too- sounded waayyy too good to be true....
I am now a believer.
Less than a week in, I was too.
There's no other way to do it now...

Those ladies are doing great, GB...those top views say it all.!
The SIP girls are awesome, but the regular gals ain't bad either👍

I'm kinda giddy tbh. All six are looking really good - best start ever for my grows.
But the SIPs - oh my!

Was planning on up-potting the others into 7 gallon fabric pots, but I threw my back out the other day. Twisting the wrong way can induce an ice pick to the spine type of pain. Maybe in a day or two.

Hope your back get better soon.

Make sure your stretch.

If you have a dodgy back, you need to do daily back exercises.

And don’t lay too long if it’s sore. Worst thing you can do to treat chronic back pain is lay still.

You are exactly right!
I had horrible back pain for twenty years - then I got back into riding my mountain bike. I still ride at least once per week. It really helps me. I also do stretching exercises every day - the plank helps strengthen my core. Not sure why the back pain has returned but I am taking it easy. Keeping my shoulders aligned with my hips - no twisting or I get stabbed in the spine.

Last Sunday I did a twenty mile ride to the top of some local mountains. Was surprised to find this shack up there. Zillow said it was listed for sale at $1.7 million, but I think that was fake.

Hey I recognize that cloud cover! We had some sun down here so I hope your day was bright and your back is well on the way to transplant city. 🏙️
Thanks!
I think I'll rest it one more day and up-pot tomorrow am.
Gonna ride down by the beach today.

All of your plants are looking excellent, especially your SIPs! Seems like you're getting better with each season. :thumb:
I read somewhere recently that first week of July was typical flower for outdoors in the Valley. in 2021 two plants went into flower around 4th of July.
That's about what I usually see here (37º latitude). I think the earliest flowering was end of June, and the latest flowering was July 20th. Most of them usually start first or second week of July.

Thanks Beez!
I’m hoping they flower first or second week of July. That will align with the grow dots timed release schedule.
