GratefulBud's Summer 2023 Outside Grow

Something to be aware of is that you need to use everything that's mixed within 24 hrs.
Oh shoot did not know that - thanks!
What happens if you use it after 4 days ?
I drench the entire plant when I spray, but especially the buds. From the top, underneath, and all sides. I mix up 32 oz. Each time - that's enough for my two plants.
Sounds good.
I used a Pax 2 for a while. Didn't really like it. I bought the Arizer Solo II last year and love it. Pretty much the only way I Smoke these days... unless I'm heading out to a show
Thanks for the info!

When I see a bug, it is dead.
I will leave the predators - Lacewings and predator spiders. But yeah everyone else gets smooshed.
I had a big 3' Cheese plant outside a few years ago- I sprayed it every day to stay ahead of the caterpillars.
I would also drench the plant when I sprayed it...
Thanks! I'll be more generous with the bt juice from now on.

Jumping spiders do:

full
Git some!

Day 4. It’s all I can do to get out of bed to feed 6 plants. They look healthy even though I am not.
I did manage a few hours sleep last night, although I woke up twice completely drenched in sweat. I think that’s good.

I can now remember my dreams. Wild dreams. Good time for a reset.

Stay healthy.

Damn, sorry it got you. Did they put you on Paxlovid? It seemed to work well for me earlier this year.

Sorry to hear about the covid, GB- I hope it doesn't stick around much longer-
Get well soon!

No, I never called the doc. Just taking increased C, D, and zinc.
I’m kinda like Baron Munchausen - I avoid doctors as much as possible.

Thanks Carcass!
I’m actually doing much better this evening.

5 of my plants are doing great!

I’m afraid the gorilla sip is lost. She looks like absolute shit. She won’t drink from the res and top watering does not seem to be helping. I’ve been too sick to properly deal with her. Now the caterpillars are eating her up. I sprayed like crazy 2 days ago and today I found a caterpillar happily munching on a top. I squished that fucker but I know there are more. I’ve got a fresh bottle of bt coming but the damage has been done. I’ll be lucky to get an oz from her. Her sister sip looks just fine. Its been close to 100 here the past few days and that is not helping at all.

Personally I think allowing your body to try and fight the virus is the best option. Many people don’t actually need the antiviral. They hear they have covid and think it’s a must, it’s not. It’s there for those who experience extreme symptoms and have co morbidities.

Fluids are the best treatment. That excessive sweat is called a diaphoresis. Your immune system is trying to choot the pathogen. It’s a good thing. But you need to replace that fluid.

My advice, not that you asked, just be careful exceeding the recommendations of the manufacturer when it comes to vitamins. Vitamins and electrolytes are a man made supplement too - only to be taken if your diet/system is lacking. I know with vitamins like C, and B, you can piss out any overload. But for D, or A or K, your body can’t piss out an overload, and your body stores them. This can cause a new health concern.

I always think a hot toddy is a great before bed treat when I have an upper respiratory tract infection any excuse to get a bit lit lol. Get well soon. Xo

Thanks Tra!
I’ll listen to your advice any day. I’m drinking plenty of fluids and doing much better thanks!
My buddy who is fully vaxd (I am not) got it just as bad. We rode mountain bikes last weekend and I caught it from him.

Just a few pics today.
The Gorilla SIP is still kicking - and looking better than she did a few weeks ago.

The Watermelon Kush has some fat chunky buds on her.

The other SIP is looking great - huge colas under that net.

I'll get some better pics in the next few days.
