I am the first to admit that I have a hell of a time getting the instructions to work with my brain. If I were following the instructions to the letter, should I be adding Tea to 1/4 Trans water?

Appreciate it. I am just trying to nail down how to use the kit as per the instructions. Last run I don't think I used a Transplant drench at all. I just reread the instructions the other day when I was planting some seeds and realized that I had messed that up as well as watering seedlings with plain water instead of 1/4 Trans water.

This is what I do...and I usually squirt about 10 drops of tea (a short draw on a small pipet) into my 1/4-transplant water too.

The only thing I see different is the amount of tea youre giving the plants. I usually go with at least 2 mils of tea with everything. Everything else seem spot on Major. There are plenty of suggestions here that I dont wanna throw in my $.02. Im sure these guys know more than me

Morning Major,...ya Gray, you are right brotha,...i don't see or hear of many growers actually alternating between Transplant and GE Drenches. Most only give the GE Drench , Trans/Water, Trans/Water, then back to the GE Drench. As far as the Tea goes...it's OK to give a little with everything , but keep in mind too much Tea will cause tip burn and other issues. If giving Tea when doing a Trans/water drink, just give a ml. or 2 per Gal , no more, it's very strong.Today my four will get their first CD. The ZH and MK-Ultra will get the "OG Drench" plus a lil Tea,...while the MLI's. will get the regular CD, plus a lil Tea. They are finishing week 4 and are ready for it. Cheers Gang!

AH ha! Soil out of gas...pots too small...plants too big. That's so obvious , but ya all know how i feel about this! Big pots = less worry. Cheers and good night Major and Ziggs.
I agree, more soil is always better, but the plant that faded is actually quite small and in the recommended 7 gal pot. It is nowhere near root bound yet.

To set the record straight, I did amend the soil before cooking. I had not added Recharge until now. The instructions conflict somewhat. In some places, the instructions say to add Recharge two weeks after the plants are up-potted into their final home. Other instructions say to add in the third week of bloom. The other advice is to add "when buds have set". I was going by these last two instructions, figuring now is about the third week of bloom and the buds are well developed.
I'm hopeful but skeptical Recharge will fix things up. Since all the other plants are larger and/or farther along in their bloom, but do not show any of the 'N' deficiency, I do not think it was a matter of not having the recharge added a week or two ago. That plant was beginning to fade again before any Recharge was supposed to be added. Regardless, all plants received their Recharge now. Time will tell...
My goal was to feed a little on the heavy side, but even with the small amounts of extra Tea and the Trans-water and Transplant, I'm not seeing tip burn or anything that makes me think they are over-fed. GASS #2 has had a recent GE drench, too. It should have everything it needs by now. We'll see where it is next week.
to all of you for chiming in and offering your ideas! The Tigers are looking better and the other Ape is small but performing really well. I only wish I had been able to veg both Apes for another couple of weeks.
Major, ya lets see what next week brings.If they're not showing any burnt tips or stress from too much GE, Tea etc. then they should look a lil better next week. I'm curious to see how she will respond to a CD , late but still!

Once upon a time, far far away. I may have seen some trial and error done with water pipes & such. These highly trained researchers found ice and water was very nice. I believe sugary drinks, cheap wine and beer all just made it harder to clean afterward and gave minimal benefit to the smoke or taste. But the cold water and ice chilled the smoke and gave it smoothness.
Never tried sparkling water and lime. Maybe a small water pipe for the wife for her birthday this summer and I could train her to be a superior researcher for the cause. now to get to the herb store with out her knowing.All the best Major, I think it is all gonna be ok. One word of caution . Even though the glass bong may be brand new, the herb fine as wine, and the Jack Daniels from a new bottle. Do Not drink the Jack even after 1 hit. Took me back to the late 70's, and to think, we thought we knew what we were doing.

Hey duggs, am I reading this right? You are gonna substitute the og drench for the cd? Other words your not giving cd, but the og in its place? I was under the impression to give the cd as usual......then follow up with the og instead of GE?

Hey Major, can you snag a fan or two from some plants and check to see how far apart brix is between the green ones and the yellow ones?

Try and take healthy leaves from each plant....then compare Brix. Cheers
