Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

I can take pictures of the manual and send them to you
If you can do it as a PDF file, I have a reader that will read those types. And they are images. Not sure if you know how to do that... Anything other than that, it has to be a full text file.
Thanks a lot for the offer, regardless. :thumb:

Do you light that I received from Growant is a400w full spectrum, fully programmable LED. I don't understand the programmable part, but if I RTFM, I'm sure it will help.

Hey Grandpa, do you have anyone with you that can help set up the light? If so, have them pm me I can go over it with them. I also have a video link I could send them. This video shows hands on how to set up the desired modes you need or want.
If you have any general questions feel free to ask away.

Thank you so much! If you could do me a favor and place the link for that video in a post or private message all by itself with no other text. That will be sincerely appreciated! No, it's just Kelly and I for now. We are going to see if our son can come and put it up, and possibly explain to us how to set it up and work it efficiently. You had better believe... Any issues you'll be the first I contact.

Not much to report really, she is basically status quo for the past 2 or 3 days. No worse or no better, and about the same size. The soil feels like she'll need water in another day or so. That is... The soil on top. The soil toward the bottom is still very wet. I appear to have developed a cold, so I may or may not be around for a day or two. It depends on whether my limited immune system can fight it off, or if I'll have to go to the hospital and the infused with antibiotics for a day or two. Time will tell...

Will do. I will pm the link now.

Jane sounds like she's drinking well, that's a good thing!

Yes, so far so good. I will probably give her some water tomorrow, so it doesn't get as dry as it has been. Hopefully, who routes will begin to stretch and she'll start to grow above ground. I'm really concerned about her not doing any growing yet.

Happy Saturday Grandpa! Hope your day is filled with life & love :circle-of-love:

She got about 32 oz of water pH'ed 7.0. We also added a couple of little sticks so she has a little support laterally. The bottom of the pot is still very wet and it is heavy, so I only added enough water to cover the top part of the soil and get no runoff. We took these pictures before we added the support sticks.

Yeah she's really looking good! I noticed too their is some stem of hers you can probably bury if you want. Once that stem stays dark and wet it will also begin to make roots. Almost like a clone does.

It's clear she's growing into her soil very nicley! Keep it up gramps. Hope your feeling okay!

She looks waaaay better with your micro-watering technique. Great job Grandpa!
It's good to know that she is looking okay. All I am doing is simply trying to avoid water runoff, and letting her dry out a little on top where I'm sure the roots still are, so they get enough water and have an opportunity to stretch out and find some. Like... Toward the bottom of the pot. :young-plant:

She is searching high and low for water . hoping her root ball forms. She will take time.

But her new leaves are lush and the nutrient burn has not affected the new growth so it's good news.

We'll have to keep an eye on her stalk which is leaning.

She may need soil pushed up against the trunk like TMD brilliantly suggested.

Or she may need a peg to help her stand straight.

Just putting it out there for future just in case.

I'm just so happy to see GREEN!

Hahahahaha

If it weren't for the borders I would be there right now hooking you up.

I'm there in spirit Grandpa!

I did notice that the stem from the ground to the first leaves seems like a little bit of a distance. I think the sticks will help keep her stabilized at least for a little while so that her stem can get stronger and be supportive. I'm sure keeping her in enough soil that is moist will help back. I have a feeling I will be watering every one or two days using the method I have been. I will post pictures more often so you guys can see how she is doing with your eyes, and if it agrees with what my fingers feel.
