Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

Aww gramps are the little ones the best. Mines over playing with her best friend kirby, and thats the vacuum not the dog .

I certianly think the humidity rises is from your morning shower. How was it just before lights out? Regardless I think it may help mimic morning rain storms.

Have a blessed day!

Hope your little one is having fun! Yes, they are quite awesome. I have gained a whole new appreciation for young ones since I became a Grandpa. :young-plant:
When we checked just before lights out, the readings were exactly the same. I am going to assume that between you and G2H, along with my train of thought, that's probably why. All I know is that I am quite happy with the change.
May God bless!

Morning Gramps and Kelley, hope all is well for you both!! Glad to hear you are enjoying the little one!!
Sending the same thoughts and prayers for you, VS! Yes... He certainly helps make the house, come alive. :tears-of-joy:

Do you light that I received from Growant is a400w full spectrum, fully programmable LED. I don't understand the programmable part, but if I RTFM, I'm sure it will help.

ROFL! That is 100% true... Normally. But when you cannot see the labels and / or the buttons and switches, not to mention the indicator lights... well.. :tongue-out:

Good day bestie, how are you doing today?

Hi Grandpa, you got a light that is worth over 7oo US so you got this in the bag. Woohoo, this light looks amazing.

I have been doing some research for you.

1. Can't find a manual online to share the text.

2. Looks pretty easy to assemble.

3. It looks like there is a light, manual, service card, power source box, power source cable and hangers.

4. The light has an LCD screen, so I'm not sure how to program it, I'll do more research if the super amazing Growant guy isn't here.

5. If I could get a hold of the manual I could read it for you. But VS says no manual for real men, so I will wait here on the sidelines and wait for VS to help you. While the real women wait to read.

Please lemme know how I can help you Grandpa. Give my best to the fam!!!

Hiyas bestie sissy!
Thanks for all of that, and for taking the amount of time that you took to research this. I have searched for an online manual myself, but I had no luck either. It does sound like it's easy to set up, I'll just have my son come over and do it. As far as the programming and running the light, I will need some help there. He'll do all he can to make me familiar, but with my memory... LOL. I need to have something in text form to refer back to. And by the way, the sidelines is no place for you! We need you to get one into the net. 😉 just don't tell VS. :high-five:
Hope things in your world are going as well as you would like, and say hello to your husband for Kelley and I.

I am going to pm gee now for you grandpa! I'm sure he will be happy to send you or I over the info. IF not I will take upon myself :)

Sounds like it has a whole lot of features that I may or may not be able to use. LOL! With Kelley being technologically challenged, it will take a while to figure it all out. We do have some time while Jane is still in veg.
Not sure if you will see G2H's post... But please don't put pink or purple pictures on this thread. Please don't misunderstand me. You are free to post all the pictures and advice and questions that you want. Just don't have pink ones here. Thank you in advance, and thank you for that information! God bless! .

Ok I messaged both vex and gee aka growant for you. I'm searching online and not having much luck. Except for realizing how awesome these lights are.... Hahaha!

From what I can tell the controls are touch screen. The furthest right area of the screen is your power button. Then to the furthest left side are your settings. Starting from the furthest button to the left working to the right is the veg setting. Then the clone setting. And then the bloom setting. Maybe Kelley could tape a small indicator above the screen at each selection? I wouldn't worry about the custom settings. ALSO did it include a controller?

So just got another pm from growant

Here are his instructions:

Step 1setting the clock. You just press and hold the hour button or the minute button. Then after the desired one is selected it will start to flash. You can then change the hour or minutes using the up or down arrows. * They're the 2 buttons to the immediate left of the power button on the far right*

Step 2
Choosing a Grow mode.
Veg bloom clone
Just tap the desired one you want
Veg automatically shuts off after 18
Clone 21hrs
Bloom 12hrs

...

So I'm sure you may need Kelley help for some of this but it shouldn't require any work once it's up and running. The timer is in the unit. So when you are ready to switch to flower just push the flower mode and that's it! Hope this helps and if I can be of any more assistance please don't hesitate to ask!!
