Grandpa's Second Try - Come Join Us!

Glad to hear things are going well for you and K gramps! Sounds like your going to nail it with jaws

Hi Grandpa,

Here is my juice recipe I have created to use my leaves throughout my grow.
This fruit blend is smoothie texture and is so yummy. Especially for fussy food eaters like me.
I have written the instructions but I'll add pics for Kelley to see.

You are creating a super food drink with pulp, this is essential for Kelley to treat her DiverD. I have had that since 2008, it doesn't go away. She needs as much green, veggies and leaves to battle her gut. If we have bad guts, it takes longer to heal. We essentially have to heal our guts first in order for the body to start sending compounds to other parts of the body. This would be so good for her, she can modify, but cutting is labour intensive. I just sit down first and get prep ready.

You want to pack your blender with soft stuff on the bottom and hard stuff up top, gently pushing it down. If it gets to thick in the blender add juice to soften it down. I do it in batches, and fill up the cups as I go. I hope you love it.

I use this green juice as a shotglass chaser to oil.
I freeze half of it, lasts months in the freezer, in individual reusable plastic cups with tight lids (dollarstore).
It makes me about 10-12 big cups of juice/fruit blend.
Take cup out of the freezer 24 hours before you need the juice.
Keep it stirred and chilled, just like our lifestyle.-

Ingredients for my Green Juice Recipe:

Wash everything...

Up to 15 Prefrozen or FRESH Fan leaves
 (NO DECARB)

1 bunch of spinach - include all

1 bunch of kale
 - include all
1 whole pineapple cored (had to buy packed PA when it's not in season)

1 lemon — cut quarters and pealed

1 sm slice of ginger root

5 apples
 - sliced
8 oranges — cut first then peeled (or it gets bitter)

1 cup of Orange juice
1 cup of
Whatever juice you want to add.

It tastes very sweet and no bitter residue in your mouth. It makes me feel like I can do anything in life.

Visuals for Kelley...feel free to ask questions...;)

Report time...
All three girls were showing signs of wilting, so we gave all 3 a drink to run off. The water was pHed to 6.8. It came out of Elsa at six point 6 + out of Emma at 6.5. It came out of Jaws at 7.2! Problem there? I really don't think so as she still looks healthy and is growing. Anything we should be doing or looking for proactively?

Just keep eye for discolouration

Watch your tips and underneathe fans for pest .

Pest stunt plants its a fact to me .

Sorry haven't really been a hell gramps but still reading and trying to peep in when I feel like I kinda know what I'm talking about now . I've ran into a few problems but with this community behind me once again I'm hoping to recover some and head towards victory on my next journal here at 420 . (happyface)

Keep faith bud never give up my journals are walking examples .(thumbs up)

Ciao for now remember anytime you can drop me a pm for quick reply

KJ...believe me, we have had our issues with bugs as well. My first Journal is a great example of that, so I feel your pain. Thanks for the heads up, we will definitely keep our eye out for that. One thing about perseverance... Emma and Elsa are starting to get stinky. Without this community and these people on this journal, I would have pulled them long ago and we would only have Jaws. I give a lot of credit to PW for calling all of you guys in. I was quite deflated and disappointed in myself and then you guys join in, and showed me that there was still hope for them. Thanks to you and to everybody else that has been so supportive! I'll post stats a little later today after the lights have been on for a little while. I'm still trying to make sure that it doesn't get too warm in there. So far, the highest temperature reading has been 88 degrees. It usually occurs somewhere between 76 and 82 or so. If I don't see anything majorly hi again, I think that we are fine, 24/7 I am also quite satisfied that the humidity has risen into the mid-to-high 30s. Power water PPMs have been hovering around 1:40 to 1:50. I am really interested to see what the runoff pH will be on Jaws's next drink.

Those temps should be okay if spikes but cones down it should be okay. Just watch fir dry top leafs of so we need to get you breathing more in there again bud .
