Grand Daddy Black Grows A Stack

Thanks, Stone.

If a plant can take that kind of heat outside then why do us tent growers fret so much when the temps get high in our tents?
I fret because they are in an enclosed space touching each other and breathing all over each other and around here (as you know) with that high heat usually comes high humidity….which has caused me bud rot issues inside the tent. I do have a good fan now, so maybe I shouldn’t fret? :laughtwo:

I thought of the heat thing in my tent yesterday when I saw the low 90's in there. I did fret a little and lowered the light intensity ( they're about done anyhow). Not sure exactly where but optimum growth happens cooler than that I believe. Bottom line is we have to do the best we can.

Hello growers.

I'm starting to feel better about Clonely. She looks like she may still thrive despite the spider mites. Thanks to @Sierra Natural Science 209, my primary weapon of choice.

I not going to let up, however. Those little bastards seem hard to eradicate. I've had some practice trying. :Rasta:

Hello growers.

Just a quick update on my FAST babies. It's day 15 for the tots and yesterday I up-potted them all up to 1 gallon pots.

You may recall that I plan to grow these all with @GeoFlora Nutrients. Well they were due their next top-feed of Veg on the 9th, but i skipped it until yesterday (so this time was a 13-day cycle). I gave each a tablespoon of Veg during the up-pot -- half watered in at the bottom of the new holes before inserting the plants and the other half tablespoon top-fed and watered in once the up-pot was complete. I also gave each about 200ml of Mycorrhizae water-in inoculum.

I have some yellowing leaves at the bottom of the Critical Poison. Not sure why as of yet. It will be a while before I can water her again and try to address whatever the problem might be so I hope it doesn't spread too much in the interim.

This will be my first time doing multiple up-pots. I usually go from solo cup to finishing pot. But these will go from these 1 gallons to be finished in 3 gallon pots.

Six of my eight clones survived. I'll be keeping the 3 on the left (2 C Bananas and 1 Godfather OG) and the other three (2 CBs and 1 GOG) will be gifted. I have a special plan for the scraggly looking one on the left. She will be grown in my first attempt at Living Organic Soil which has been cooking for about 21 days, give or take! The other two will be fed MegaCrop.

Hello growers.

I'm making baby steps with my current stack. I got two of my clones up-potted to 2 gallon pots today. This will be another multiple up-pot, as these will likely be finished in 5 gallon pots.

So I've got the 2 clones and the 4 FAST babies set for a bit of growing!

I hope to be able to leave these in place for about a month, maybe a little longer, and then up-pot them, move them to the 5x5 tent and flip them all. Of course, I'll need the plants to cooperate with this "plan."

The other 3 clones in the right-rear will be leaving here soon. I called my buddy today and told him he needed to come and get them if he wants them and he said he would.

The last scraggly looking clone in the middle-rear will stay in the solo cup for another 2 weeks or so while the LOS I want to grow her in finishes cooking. I'll post more information about my first shot at LOS in the near future, how I mixed it and, more importantly, how I prepped to cheat if it doesn't perform as envisioned!

Peace.

Hello grow throng.

It's day 19 for the FAST babies and they are plugging right along. Here's a tent pic:
FAST tent 6-15-21 D19.jpg

That's a Bruce Banner front left. The middle one is Bubblegum #1. To her right is a Critical Poison. And behind the CP is Bubblegum#2.

The yellowing on the CP seemed to stop as soon as she got up-potted, thankfully.

And yes, I am pumped to have two Bubblegums! Those of you who have followed me may recall that Bubblegum is the only aroma I tend to discern from any weed plant (the Cheese I grew being the exception). So I can hardly wait to see what these smell like! (I'm betting on cat piss or eau de outhouse, anything but bubblegum. :laughtwo: )

Those are clones in the 3 gallon pots. One C Banana and one Godfather OG.

And all but one of the other 4 clones in there will be exiting today to be given away to a friend.

Rambling Disclaimer.

BTW, this "friend" was supposed to come and pick them up days ago but has had one excuse after another for failing to do so. Now he has asked me to bring them to his house this evening!

Me and a bunch of old friends have scheduled our annual Step Brothers reunion pic for this evening. When we were growing up there was a Monastery in our neighborhood and as teenagers we would congregate on the steps of that building late at night and smoke weed until we ran out. We called ourselves the Step Brothers. A few years back, one of the group suggested that we get together at the steps and take a reunion pic. This will be our 3rd straight year doing it. I've known most of these guys for more than 50 years and it's always fun seeing them together again.

Anyway, my friend that is getting the clones is a member of the group, and his house is only 2 blocks from the steps. Hence his rather conveniently timed request that I bring them over.

Happy growing to all, and thanks for stopping by.

Peace.

Holy hell.......look what the algorithms brought to my attention a few moments ago.

I should be caught up with this one...ehh...around 2024. No spoilers please.

Welcome @BakeARea!

The Butler did it. :Rasta:

They're all looking really happy in their new homes there. :welldone:

And I think that bodes well for whatever is happening in this paragraph:

Will there be a test?
how I prepped to cheat if it doesn't perform as envisioned!
It's only cheating if you're being paid/sponsored to use that soil untouched. Otherwise it's just smart growing!
This will be our 3rd straight year doing it.
How cool is that!

In the library with a candlestick?

Hello growers.

On an off-topic, if anyone wants to see a quick summary of how the Step Brothers reunion went look here.

Hello all.

So I've got the gifted clones outta' here and I'm ready start messing with the rest!

All of these plants need water. The FAST babies haven't been watered in 6 days and it's been 5 days since the clones got a drop.

I'm going to water them all tomorrow. The 2 large clones will get MegaCrop @ 4g per gallon + a myco inoculant, and I'll clean up their bottoms and maybe top them. The FAST babies will get plain water + a myco inoculent, as they are being fed @GeoFlora Nutrients.

And rather than wait on my LOS to finish cooking, I think I'll up-pot the little scraggly clone into a 1 gallon pot with just some organic soil, worm castings and a myco inoculant.

(I've just added a couple of new brands of myco to my collection and haven't decided which one to use yet.)

When I look into the tent I try to imagine how many days I'll be able to leave all 7 of the plants in there before they outgrow the space. I'm lousy at projecting growth rates so I could use some help. I'd like to leave them in there for at least 40 days.

Does that look possible?

That's a neat and tidy tent..no upside down plants like mine:laugh:..looking good mate. Healthy and happy.
Congrats on the nomination anyway. Your going to win it with ease and it will be a well deserved award .

@Squiggles, sorry but that was an amateur mess-up that you had. I've managed (in larger tents) to lose my footing and sit on a plant. And I've done that not once but twice, during different grows!

I'm in the big leagues, baby! :Rasta:
