Sooo much larf!
I'm going to try that no larf pruning next grow.

Mel, Survivor looks much better than when she arrived!

I think it would grow even better in a more manly-colored pot. :)
Lol, I'll let her mom know!
Well done on the chop down Mel, Tokyo is safe! :thumb:

Are you going to spray down the survivor a few times before bringing it inside?
Thanks Shed!
Yeah, I'm definitely going to spray her down, and put a layer of diatomaceous earth down in the tent to keep pests out.
If those last couple of sprays don't knock back the pm for good, I'll have to go with the sponge bath method. The upside of the sponge bath method is I can use neem or potassium bicarbonate since it won't be in contact with the stigmas.
Congrats!! And that survivor is looking so much better!
Thanks Ke0ncp!
Nicely done Mel. 🍋
Thanks Keith!

Survivor is drying out after her last spray. Whether the mildew has been dealt with or not, she's coming inside this evening. The temps just aren't good enough anymore.

Hey yo Mel. Sorry about the one plant buddy. Disappointing I'm sure. I'm glad you were able to save Tokyo from Godzilla though! She looks phat. Happy Sunday guy!! 😎✌️
Thanks Scottay!

Thanks Scottay!
the day & night temps have dropped pretty good & would definitely slow it down

Weather here is starting to get kinda cool. Lots of fog too. Perfect for the PM. Crazy because we've been in hard drought this summer and then it cooled off and got wet and the PM raises it's ugly head!! 😎✌️

Congrats on the harvest Mel. :) Haven't been on much lately.:hmmmm: Things around the place to do. 🤠 I have made a little rosin from the MAC and Purple Ghost Candy. Both strains big rosin makers. :cheesygrinsmiley:

My outside Panama Incident is still chugging along. :) Nights are 40sF/ 4C and dry low rh until the 18th, so I'll let her keep ripening.🤔:):bong:

Congrats! You've mentioned MAC, what's the full strain name?

I fully intended to post a vape report on Godzilla, but I couldn't figure out how.
The flavour is lemon with a hint of gasoline, but it smells like I just ground up some lemon peels.
Is it very potent, and takes effect quickly, but not suddenly. It's not a "hit by a bus" kind of high, but more of a liftoff.
I was cheerfully confused, and pleasantly disoriented, and my body was super comfortable. No couch lock, but I could easily have taken a nap.
This is really good weed.
Give it another week and I'll know if I have a new favourite.
@Herbies Seeds great work!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to starting my next indoor grow. Outdoors is getting a little too unpredictable.

Thanks gwhunran!
I wish I could have left her out to ripen some more, but I found enough rot starting that I know I made the right decision.

Well, I think this is the end for Survivor.
As soon as I got her into the tent she started yellowing, and the powdery mildew came back with a vengeance. I tried spongebaths with potassium bicarbonate and neem, but they're not helping, and might be making things worse.
She's going outdoors tomorrow for a final spray, but I'm not optimistic.

IIt's caked on some of the lower leaves.

In slightly better news I'm sterilizing perlite for the winter grow. I meant to have seeds started by now, but life got in the way.

Sounds most excellent! :welldone: getting it to harvest.
Thanks Shed!

I think she’s defs got some sort of disease. Like a plant cancer.

Just like with humans, pathogens love the weak. It’s not the cancer that kills you. It’s a secondary infection. I think the PM is a secondary problem. She’s got something going on systematically. Well I think she does.

If she was mine I’d repot her, cut her back and Reveg. Basically plant chemo lolling.

I agree, I think the shock of bringing her indoors out of the sunlight tanked her immune system, and now the fungus that killed that side branch and the powdery mildew took over.

I'm pretty sure that would kill her outright, although she is dying anyway.
I'll ask her owner what she wants me to do, but I think she'll decide to cut her losses.
We've already discussed autoflowers for next year, given the challenges of her location.

She's decided to chop, and try to salvage what she can after the plant has dried.

So, that brings this journal to a close!
It's been quite the season.
I'll be starting the Autumn/Winter journal as soon as I have sprouts, and I'll post a link here.
The plan is Cherry Bomb and GSC in hempy, but I only have one GSC seed, so hopefully it cooperates!

Thanks for following along!
