Week 10 day 68

Everything is going smoothly nothing much to report today apart from all plants are in the stretch. Its almost like they have taken a couple of weeks to really get going. The canopy is still thick but spreading out a bit now thanks to the stretch.

Flowers are really starting to get furry and there afro is getting bigger. Already trichomes everywhere and the smell is so different already looking forward to these girls!

Another one of my flowering teas added today. Noticed that I have a serious fungus gnat problem now I think I left it a bit to late to tackle. Nanotobes are in and I also put neem down today. But looking at the amount that are flying about I went for the extra and brought in some predator mites to help evict the unwanted pests.

Week 11 day 71

So a few things today. Flowering is In full swing although I have notice the very very beginning of a bit of tip burn I think I've been over doing something so I'm gunna stick with water for a week and let everything get back to normal. Unfortunately I only noticed this after top dressing my plants with charge, lifecycle, palm tree ash and bat guano (i do this every 3 weeks) and watering it in with a seed sprout tea of barley, corn and mung bean. I think I have been pushing my luck with a SST and 2 AACT per week so I'm gunna take a step back a little. We will go with SST every 2 weeks and AACT every week in between. Like I was in veg just increase the water volume per week.

Also gnat flies are still coming out the wood work it is now an infestation I have put neem in my watering and as a dry amendment on the top of my pots. But this hasn't touched them yet. I have hypoaspis miles going in tomorrow. Hopefully I will get these under control as it's no joke anymore.

One last thing can anyone confirm for me and stop my bum from flapping.... picture below please tell me this is a flower and not 2 seed pods forming. It's only on one bud that has these two sacks I have never seen them look like this before and freaking me out!!!....

But please enjoy some of the pictures of the rest of my grow its looking soooooo yummy!

Week 11 day 72.

Devastated and majorly pissed is an understatement. Today i removed the what looked to be pollen sacks. Indeed they were. I went through the entire grow to check the rest of the plants and found the centre runt of a plant had proper gone for the sex change.
I am now down to 9 plants the small hermie I have pulled down. The other plant which is my favourite and most promising that first showed me pollen sacks seems to have only been affected on one colar. I have also been able to use this plant to fill the gap in the scrog. I check each node of each collar.... 2 hours later and I think I'm safe on that plant for now I hope! With the extra space and more air flow that plant if she/he doesnt hermie anymore will turn out to be a brute.

IMO and this maybe because I'm still fuming. I have been majorly let down by Barneys farm which I never thought I'd say. I think they have also let down other customers who have experienced the same fate. They have openly written to me saying that glookies has a very high rate of hermie due to GENETICS. Although they fail to mention this anywhere! I get that it's part and parcel of growing but come on! If I'm paying £10 a seed I expect ladies and stable strong genetics. No wonder they are now "out of stock". I cant complain about the plants they are super fast and strong plants and the buds from what I can see so far are going to mega! Is it worth the risk though with such a busy and competitive market I could probably find something else out there just as good without the risk of up to 60%! cmon barneys what are you playing at! This is a deal breaker for me..... once harvest I will not be continuing with glookies until the genetics have been improved and possible the end of using barneys farm.
