sometimes im the same way. I don't wanna be impolite but at the same time im lazy to click on someone's avatar to check their gender so i avoid terms like "dude, bro, man, etc etc" for those types of inconvenient encounters, unless i know that person in that case i use them freely 
the dark devil bug is strong, i almost caught it when i saw its bud sights. Truly a beauty, but honestly not my type of smoke. If it was my thing then i'd definitely go for it, one of the most beautiful phenos amongst it's medicinal league

I am a stoner feminist chick -- we are the most relaxed feminists in the world I like this forum because most of the time my actual gender is irrelevant, just as my politics, religion, profession and sexual orientation don't make much difference to my growing. That's a good rule of thumb, brother -- anything that makes us more conscious is a pretty good thing, eh? I make assumptions about people's relationships/gender/sexual orientation all the time, even though I firmly believe that labels SUCK. Seems hard-wired into me at a certain level, even when it wouldn't make any difference to what's going on. For the record, I'm pretty much a dude/guy/man woman rather than a girly/lady/princess woman
"Man" is just one of the great all-time stoner words. Even better than "dude", which also works. I call people "dude" as a joke, and many people don't like it, sadly, so I have to watch it.

my cat changes his name to Shere Khan when he goes in for inspection and a plant dive..
mimic birds make fan sounds and timer clicks..
Arnold insists that i must get to the choppa..
ok.. whew. got that out. much better now.
man i really gotta cut back on intake at lunch

HOLY SHIT. I went to the last page of my journal and read Pigeon's (Pigeons's?) post. THEN I FREAKED. More later.
This made me laugh for days. And I wasn't even stoned. And then I got stoned and it was EVEN BETTER. Gypsy, you are amazing!

Yay for pre flowers! It's such an exciting time, isn't it? I have a feeling that even when I've done a million grows, pre flowers will still be mesmerizing. At this point, of course, they make me bounce up and down in glee I am in love with the DD strain. I see why SweetSue grows them all the time. Now I want to have a garden filled with different coloured cannabis, for the psychedelic effect

So I started crying because I love you all so much. You will never know what you and your friendship has meant to me. I lead a busy life, am blessed with a great partner, good friends, meaningful work, four of the best cats that have ever drawn breath and I live in a place that's peaceful and beautiful. But being accepted by you good folks is unbearably touching for me. I generally hate groups, hate and fear them. I don't like the way people behave in groups and I'm not a joiner by any stretch of the imagination.
But this place is special.
