GDB's Auto Array

I think I’m guilty of the same thing GDB, once I started really dousing my DDA, it started putting out some growth. Could coincidentally have been stretch making it happen, maybe both? Either way, I’m not holding back on the next ones. Everything is looking great in here GDB, I like your plans for perpetual autos. :thumb:
Thanks, HH. Having these autos at various ages helps me cope with the drudgery of waiting for my photos to finish.

Your plants are looking outstanding and I anxiously await your updates!

Thanks for stopping by. This thread is nearly an echo chamber! :Rasta:

That’s exactly why I like to mix it up with autos and photos. Photos take so dang long! And like you said, stockpiled seeds need to be gone through. It seems like this happens during summer more often, it’s harder to keep up. I’m feeling like my journal is rather slow these days too. But come harvest, it’ll be exciting once again, lol.

I love the look of the CC! Puts me in the Christmas spirit in July :)
The problem with going with too small a pot for autos is if you get one that wants to show you how big they can get then you end up repotting. If you plant to keep 'em short then yes smaller pots are probably better.

I think it's exciting now! I don't know how much more excitement I can take. :laughtwo:

Well, Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown! :ciao:

Thanks for stopping by, MrSauga.

Hello growers. A quick update.

It's getting a little crowded in the auto tent because everything is trying to get big! I ain't complaining but something's got to give.

The Caramel Cream is tucked into the back left corner. She's on day 97 but has no amber yet. Still, she will have to go soon out of necessity.

My little baby Lemon AK (in the middle) has developed her 2nd set of fan leaves so I am counting this as day 1 for her.

The hidden, soon to be gone, Caramel Cream:

Happy Saturday!

Aloha GDB! I may be high but does that caramel cream look like a hulk fist flipping me bird? Lol

I like the short squat plants anyway. I think it would make a killer center piece on a dining table but that’s just me lol

I don't raise my plants that way, Sunny. They would never flip you the bird! :Rasta:

Quite honestly I wouldn’t be offended at all lol I like a plant with personality

Hello growers.

Things were getting too tight in the tent so I had to take down the Caramel Cream at day 98. She still had no amber but was full of nice opaque trichs.

She was a runt so I only got 135g wet. No surprise there.

Here's a pic of a bud. (She had a couple of nice fat ones but not much else.)

I've gotta' say I'm glad to have her out of the way. This whole idea of being able to do staggered auto grows in a single small tent might be a bit too optimistic. The problem is what MrSauga warned about. Some autos get big! I'm now seeing that some even get big in little 2 gallon pots. It's kind of hard to plan for and to manage.

So even with the CC gone, it's still a little tight in the tent. 2 of these 3 plants (the ones in 2 gallon pots) are still stretching.

Maybe 1 gallon pots are the key!

Later.

Congrats on the harvest GDB! I’m looking forward to what you think about the smoke! You never can tell what these autos are gonna do.. My Red Pure CBD is said that 95% of the plants turn red/purple and I seem to have gotten a green pheno lol

that bud just might surprise you!

Aloha!

Congrats on a nice harvest, GDB!

That's not bad- about 1.1-1.3oz. dry....she definitely earned her keep- and if she's good smoke- even better!
Don't you wish they were all that easy to trim!

It's a lot like fishing. Plenty of small ones but then you get these keepers that blow your mind. It's a good problem really :)

Thanks Carcass. Yes, trimming her was a breeze! Only took about 1/2 hour start to finish. :Rasta:

Well I just grew some nice bait. :laughtwo:

I’m late, but congrats on the harvest GDB! Lately I’ve been harvesting mine at cloudy trichs (not much of any amber) and I like it. Hopefully you’ll be really happy with yours too. 98 days seems like long enough sister, you’re outta there! Lol. Just a bit more elbow room for the rest of them now. :thumb:

Hello growers.

Just a quick update.

The Brooklyn Sunrise is stacking up nicely. She has been super easy to maintain on only recently started loosing leaves. She pretty much defoliated herself. I've had a few plants do that lately and I think it might be related to high temps in the tent, which have hovered around 86F.

What has my interest the most is that one of my younger plants (back right) has stretched past the height of the BS while being in a much smaller pot. The BS is 71 days old in a 5 gallon pot. The two youngsters are both at 36 days in 2 gallon pots. If the BS runs to 90 or more days and the youngsters keep doing what they're doing, things could get tight!

And the baby Lemon AK (front left) is going to need some light too, and soon.

This is not the scenario I envisioned, but I'm not complaining. :Rasta:
