GDB's Auto Array

Hello growers.

Just a quick update.

The Black Cream (day 63) is making small individual buds but they are sticky and smelly, sweet smelly. She's getting 5.8g of Mega Crop and drinking about 2.5 liters per 2 days.

The Smoothie (63) is making tall thin buds and smells more like fuel, but she smells! She's also getting 5.8 of MC and drinking a little more than the BC, about 3 liters per 2 days.

The Brooklyn Sunrise (99) is nearly done I believe, but she's still drinking and has no amber so she's not done yet. She's getting 6g of MC and 1g of Bud Explosion and drinking about 5 liters every 2 days.

The Lemon AK(35) is just hanging around setting up little flowers. I bent her sideways and she's gonna be fun to watch grow. I think she will be a little plant but I'll love her anyway. :Rasta: She's getting 3g of MC. I water her when the pot gets light, about every 5-6 days.

Lemon AK (Mr.S, I added another rock to her because I like rocks.)

That's it. As today was my last day of work, tonight is the beginning of my weekend. Things are gonna' get real this evening! I've got a variety of nice bud to sample and I'm sure I get through at least 2 strains (1 tiny bowl each) and about 3 beers, then lights out! Such is the life of a geezer! :laughtwo:

lol, you can never have too many rocks!

Sounds like a great evening. I fight to stay awake so the geezer side in me doesn't win, but I gotta say everyday it gets harder to fight.

Last day of work for the week, or retirement!? Big difference, GDB!
For the week Dutchin! While I am retired, I work a part-time job 2 days a week just to get out of the house. Also, it encourages me to do stuff like shave and get haircuts, things I might not do otherwise! :Rasta:

Hello growers.

Time for another quick update. And, for the record, I'm not always quick. :Rasta:

My Smoothie and Black Cream are both 67 days old. They're both being fed 5.8g of Mega Crop. They're both drinking about 3L every other day before run off.

They're both developing nice, but completely different shaped, buds. The Smoothie has tall buds that just really started to fill in. About 10 days ago, she seemed to stall for about about 5 days for whatever reason. The BC has squat, fat buds that are already pretty hard.

The Lemon AK is on day 39. I bent her sideways and she seems happy with that arrangement, but she's not going to get very big.

No biggie. She's throwing out some lemony-looking pistils, if that's even a thing.:Rasta:

The Brooklyn Sunrise is 103 days old and is trying to try my patience. She won't, but she's trying. She is getting 6g of MC and 1g of Bud Explosion and drinks about 4-5 liters every 2 days.

She's full of opaque trichs but has very little amber.

There, that was quick.

Was it good for you, too?

I've noticed that my autos don't seem to amber up when they "should"- the LED's might have something to do with it-I put my Alaskan Purple out in the (very hot) sun for one day and she went from 2% amber to 15-20% in just that one day...
Your Brooklyn Sunrise is a real beauty!

Love that Brooklyn sunrise, those colas look sooo dense. Will you be running another one of them?
Yeah, I suppose, Dutchin. I've got some more seeds. I just don't know when I might get to them.

Thanks, Carcass. I can't put her outside, not the best neighborhood to try that. Any how, she's still drinking plenty, so I'm thinking she's not done yet! :Rasta:

Hello again, growers.

Just a quick update on the Brooklyn Sunrise strain. When I decided to grow this strain, I thought it might be a "problem" strain, based on the experience of others here who had grown it. Not. It was about the easiest auto I've ever grown, and it's tough.

Those who've been following along know that I had started 2 Brooklyn Sunrises. When one was about 2-3 weeks above soil I gave it to a friend who is a first-time grower. I advised him to grow it in super soil so he would only have to water it.

He tried his best to muck it up. First, he mixed the super soil with some kind of soil that had been sitting outside in a pot with no plant for about a year. It was bug infested. I don't know what kind of bugs, but they were little, quick darty things. Neem oil sprays seem to have gotten rid of them. Then he put some Advanced Nutrients Grow in them. "Something I saw on Amazon." He said he only did it once, but I'm not certain of that. I told him nothing else needed in super soil and he stopped. Then later when she started budding up he cut off most of the fan leaves because he thought they were blocking too much light from the buds. And when I say "most" I mean most.

I thought for sure that he had ruined her, but she hung in there.

She's the same age as mine but is much less developed. Still, I'm impressed that she's done as well as she has.

Here's a pic of one of her buds!

My buddy is giddy and I'm giddy for him!

Later.

I know you’re not really a fan of them, but in the pictures she looks real good!
Not true, Dutchin. I haven't even had any yet so I don't know how much of a fan I am. And I don't mind them taking so long to get done either. No hurry here.

It's just that I've got so many auto seeds that I haven't tried yet. I'm trying to get through all of them! :Rasta:

Hello growers.

Just a quick update.

Not much to report. Everything is just plugging along. The Black Cream and Smoothie are on day 71. Light and heat stress early in their lives caused them to stretch up and they probably will not produce as much as they otherwise might have. Still, they smell great and I hope to get at least a couple of ounces from each. I started giving them 1g of Bud Explosion on their last feed.

The Brooklyn Sunrise is on day 107 and is still drinking plenty. I expect her to be done around mid-2021. :laughtwo:

The Lemon AK is on day 43 and is fun to watch growing sideways.

Here's a full tent shot. (BS front left, Smoothie front right, BC right rear and LAK left rear)

When I bent the LAK sideways, I didn't quite get it set the way I wanted but I didn't chance doing any more to it. I like the way its growing though. There will be no low hanging fruit on this one!

That's all for today. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
