Gardenfaerie Outdoor Organic Summer 2014 Flux and LST in Ground

I do have a second video coming. I had the landscape button on so close up shots were impossible. You can get the idea, but I do have another video uploading...which takes a very long time for a few minute movie!

OK so, you should definitely be seeing a harvest in September.

The Lemon Kush on the left should be done before the one on the right. They still get a decent amount of light for being in the shade, and are putting out some nice resinous buds. You could drag your potted plants over to that tree in the Sun if you had the energy :surf:

And I do get a great idea from this video, in fact, with the video, I have seen your plants better than all the pictures.

So again, I would be just doing some final bat guano applications here using my 0-8-1 by Earth Juice (which is solution grade bat guano that can be used in hydroponic systems - really really good stuff). It helps my plants start with the nitrogen fade when I want them to, helps build their buds in the last two weeks, and also helps enhance the flavors/aromas.

In addition, I would be inspecting the buds as best as I could, sometimes even though the buds can look perfectly good and clean from the outside, if you look inside the buds there can be a problem. The loopers saliva doesn't induce mold when they travel so they're really hard to notice, sometimes you may not even notice until the buds are drying.

Anyway your plants are looking absolutely fantastic. Hang in there! :Namaste:

Les, thanks. Earlier in the season they weren't in the shade, but were shaded by the tree starting at 4pm. It gets full sun from 10 till after 4 now. When the sun was higher in the sky, it was directly in the path of the redbud, but now that it is lowered in the sky, the sun hits them all day. Where they are now is the spot which gets the longest duration of direct sun.

I have been inspecting the buds. You can see now how tight they are. I'm going to order a microscope with a larger display so I can see. I am going to make another video in a little while. Shorter if possible, and much slower and with the right setting so the close up will look clear. I'll stay on the colas longer.

The camera sees what I cannot.

You know the story about the Princess and the Pea, right? She can feel the pea under a hundred mattresses because she is that sensitive.

Okay, Mark's nick name for me is, The Princess and the Quark.

Yes, I am definitely a Victoria. I have no idea who people are talking to if they say Vikki. My dad was the same way. His name was Anthony and if people called him Tony, he never answered. Not to be snobby, but that is not our name.

Nice Vid Brooklyn and you still don't sound like an out-of-towner. More like an Upper Eastsider than a Brooklynyte though.

Faw fa faw fa faw faw faw. Upper east side! Ya. Well, my mother grew up on West 110 between Broadway and Amsterdam. Right on the corner is the RESTAURANT shown in Seinfeld. Is that place still there? The Greeks. We don't have diners in this part of the world. I miss me a diner.

Since this is my journal, I want to announce that my husband officially hates his new job. We had a deal. He would not stay there if he hates it. One guy was fired this morning for calling OSHA and complaining about how OT is paid. Ooo, please, fire my Mark. Lay his ass off. FIRE HIM FIRE HIM FIRE HIM.

C'mon everybody, chant!!! FIRE FIRE FIRE, not the hot kind, the no more job kind. Be specific!

Haha. Anyway, Reginole, my father raised me alone and he was Up Town, jazz musician, hairdresser, dapper man. I was not allowed to speak with that igor-ant accent, like that Queens accent. I think only us New Yawkas can hear the vast differences between uptown and downtown, east side, west side. Each accent is different and unique to the neighborhoods.

I can also tell the difference between a person speaking English with a Mexican, Puerto Rican, Cuban or Castilian Spanish accent. I'm sure you can, too.

The vid didn't work for me on the first round, care to repost as link now that it works?

Okay, Rad, I took another video today and it is a bit better. It starts out shaky and blurry, but I have it set to take close shots. I tried not to shake too much and hold it on the colas longer so you can see them. Here is the new video. I took the other one day, I think. This is better IMO.

I just watched how the video looks on this forum and noticed it appears like the leaves are stippled, but they are not. That is the metallic sheen you see on pot plants now and then. It must be something in the variety. There are a few holes in the leaves, but I inspected the plants every morning and found no worms yet. Not feces, either.

those are some nice looking flowers in that video.
My outside plants are just starting to flower being north of the 49th hope they have enough time before the rains come back. Laughing Buddha takes 80-90 days to flower, so they say.

Just wondering have you ever cloned from a flowering plant? I couldn't help myself I have three Laughing Buddhas flowering clones started.

SBG, lmao yeah my blackjack is long like that. sucks. but I planted some auto seeds that are like seedlings to harvest is like 8-10 weeks.
very fast. that way I don't run out. lol

Yes, I actually have one clone right now in the closet under the Top LED 48*3 Panels. I did take the cutting from a plant in flower. One of the outside plants in that video, actually. I've been too lazy to start that new journal for my indoor growing. Then, in January a bunch of us will all be growing plants of the purple or blue persuasion in memorial to BID, one of the beloved members (I never got to know) who passes away suddenly, a few weeks ago. It is going to be a group grow and will be announced by Light Addict when the time comes. It is larger now and I have been training it with LST and some tying and topping, but this was it last week.
