Fun In The Sun 2016 - Tiger - Ape - Pitbull - Gorilla & More - Run Wild

This just in:
Oregon outlaws "kid-friendly" cannabis names.
Goodbye to names like: Girl Scout Cookies, Cinderella 99, Candyland, Grape Ape, Charlotte’s Web, and Skywalker OG.
Oh well. It could be worse. The buds are legal. Only the names will be changed to protect the innocent.
Money well spent, I'm sure (NOT)!

And somewhere right now, Joe Camel is snickering.

'Cause it's all about the name we call something. :cheesygrinsmiley: We no longer have to worry about a 10 yr old firing up the pipe so he can smoke some of that enticing stuff called GSC = progress. Adults are so much smarter than kids. They know that a kid would think they were actually cookies, and try to eat or smoke the stuff.

Do you suppose the people who thought this one up have Master's degrees? Heck, they Gotta be college graduates, right? With great benefits ...

Ace of Spades is very close. She will come down next week assuming weather doesn't force me to take her sooner.

The Ace of Spades looks like a keeper for your location. The buds look great! :thumb:

It does well here, for sure. I grew it last year. In fact, this plant is a clone of one of the plants I chopped last year. It's an older TGA Subcool strain you don't see much anymore, but still a great plant to grow. Good balanced buzz.

How's things Major? Hope the girls handle it in stride. Man, It's starting to get biblical out there
We got 2" last night. Wind was bad but not terrible. I have not been down to the garden to see how it went. I'm more concerned about tomorrow. Lots more rain on Saturday and high wind warning. They are comparing it to the Columbus Day storm of 1962! We are looking at another 4" of rain with winds possible of 60-70 mph. I may begin emergency chops today once it gets light. At least that would let me get AS down and hanging.

Saturday don't look pretty. Seeing how this system is a leftover typhoon from Japan, could be for the record books.

Be safe Major. Best wishes to you & yours. :surf:

Ugh! So much to do...
Mrs. PITA and I just finished a very rough trim on GASS. It is up and hanging. We did it in a record 4 hours. Of course it is the smallest of the brood.
The rain wouldn't be an issue, but the wind. Oh, the wind! A few broken branches and plenty of branches were supercropped from being blown around. And the worst of the wind isn't until tomorrow afternoon.
I'm heading down to tie up some branches this afternoon. I'll do an early selective harvest on AS and maybe some GG4 tomorrow to salvage problem areas. AS is good to go, but I'd really like to let GG4 go another week or two. At least the cover held overnight. We're looking at possible 50-70 mph wind tomorrow. Not a good situation for bud-heavy plants, covered or not.

I wonder how far a roll of pallet wrap would go ... :hmmm:

If the posts are strong enough, I bet you could wrap that sucker up for a day ... nice and tight, won't rip ... :cheesygrinsmiley:
