:thanks: Sir!

Beautiful plants. I'm loving the colors on LH2 and Gass. Do you have a wand sprayer, like for fruit trees? I would think they could hit a 12 foot canopy ok.

I do have a wand sprayer, but it is not a backpack sprayer. The problem is, there is no room for a ladder between the plants any longer. The canopy on ZD is about 13' and the plant's soil is 6" above ground level = 13.5'. The wand is about 2' long and sprays about another 2'. That leaves me several feet shy of reaching the tops. Luckily, only AS appears to have significant spider mites, so far. It is doing fine and will be chopped before long. I won't spray anything this late in the game anyway.

Happy morning Major!:high-five:
Good morning! Have fun with your family this holiday weekend.

Major, whats it mean when the tric stems have no head/bubble??? Over done??
Hmmm...
Not sure. Is it just a few, or are most/all the trich's headless?
I've seen an occasional trichome where it appears the head is broken off. Probably from me bumping them and breaking them. But I can't say I've seen enough of it to be of help.
Anyone else seen this?

Its just an occasional stem with no head. I will look more. Im still learning and hard to work the magnifier. I was wonding if means over done and exploding?
Theory tells me if a bud looks almost half amber on one part and no amber but mostly cloudy on another part of same bud I would say their 25% done?
I know Im picking this apart but i want to perfect this craft!! What fun! Happy camper I am. Suns up, yard grows beautiful.
Oh mites, not sure how easy to get and waiting until theres a problem. Im glad I got you good people here! Happy Sunday and Happy Harvest!!:lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke:

A very good morning to ya Dutch. The trichs form like a flower, first the stem , then the head slowly develops. FYI , and others....remember that the "head" of the trichome is the only part of the plant that has what we covet,...the medicine! The stalk of the trichome has NONE in it ...it is all transported to the actual head. Sure the rest of the trich may bring gooeyness and all that but as far as medicinal value...we are only interested in the actual trichome gland HEAD. The perfect trichome for harvest will have a very swollen gland head that appears to be filled with milk. This is at it's prime and is properly "ripe" for harvesting. Cheers Dutch and happy Sunday woman!:Namaste:

Man Major, I am green with envy over here! The colors you are getting are absolutely gorgeous! LH #2 is a work of art! GASS looks pretty sweet too. The rest are hellacious plants in their own right, but those two really caught my eye.

Major, you should really devote some time to taking pics of that LH#2. That looks exactly like a strong POTM. Or more.

It's truly remarkable. Arresting. I don't think I've seen its like before.

Wow - thanks!

The LH#2 is getting more photogenic. I think the window is going to be small for another photo op'. We are losing our good weather in a couple of days. Cool with heavy rain begins Thursday. I'll probably chop GASS this coming weekend.
LH#2 is not a huge plant but it is doing really well. It is too bad her sister isn't farther along. It IS a monster with the same nice globe shape and is beginning to color up, as well. But it is so far behind, I'm not sure how far it will get before a freeze.

This is LH#2 as of yesterday.

This is part of the damage from the face-plant GASS took when it fell over from the wind. I'm surprised she is doing as well as she is. I propped the branches back up, but didn't do anything to repair the splits where they broke.

Both my phone and I suck at getting photos for something like PotM or NotM. I appreciate the support guys!!

It doesn't look far from being ready, how are the trichs?

To be honest, I haven't taken a close look at them yet. Since both Liberty Hazes were the last to begin blooming and the buds are on the small side, I figured their harvest is still a ways off. I'll get a better look today but LH#2 isn't frosty with trich's like the other plants. I hope that changes QUICK. LH is described as a 8-10 week strain. These have only been blooming for 6-7 weeks, and it looks like they could go another month if weather permitted.

Not all of them are, if it's a haze little trichomes is to be expected.

Wow dident think the head hasent developed yet, interesting. I figured its because Im too rough with them and knock them off. But I see very few amber trics on the heads that are there, they are clear to mostly cloudy with a few amber. I figure two more weeks. If they still have white hairs I figure theyre still maturing, trying one last effort to make bables. The ones with white hairs Im not even checking trics yet. My yard grows incredible!! All the grows ive done Ive wanted denser buds and got it this year!!!
Time to up pot the girls in the tent today. Looks like 7 girls total to flower out in my tent. I might throw in a fem from the dryer room.
Its so nice to communicate with and learn from experts. Thank you!!
Hold on..... so Duggan, cloudy trics with no amber is done to you?? Also Duggan Im all male my brother!!

4dutchess, many HB grown plants don't go amber much, if at all...:thumb:

Really?! So they just never go amber? They just stay cloudy the whole time? Huh. Well, I like cloudy! I have a lot more HB reading to do...

:smokin:

I'm beginning to question the whole clear/cloudy/amber thing. I've had plants that barely showed any amber - ever. But at the same time, I have plants, obviously not ready but with nearly all cloudy and some amber. Even plants that had only just begun to bloom were showing mostly cloudy right from the beginning. Very confusing. I'm currently going by the overall look of the buds 'cuz nothing is making much sense right now.
