Fun In The Sun 2016 - Tiger - Ape - Pitbull - Gorilla & More - Run Wild

Major I'd just about come over there and hold a umbrella for you so those two could finish strong..Sweet :thumb: Later my friend, Rooster1 strolling thru..

*Nods* Yep, and I'm gonna help by holding an umbrella over Rooster so he doesn't catch cold. I'll also loan you my husband. His body temperature is close to that of a nuclear furnace. We'll put him next to the plants and that should buy you a couple more months. :laughtwo:

Yes, Marilyn says i'm like a lil heater too! Wats up with that eh!:wood:

EXTRA! EXTRA!
This, just in from the "Better Late Than Never Department".

I cobbled together a temporary cover made from the plastic I used last year in the veggie garden. I decided GASS and LH#2 were worth trying to salvage. Even though the plastic is a bit brittle from being out last summer and fall, and being stored outdoors all year, I think it will last long enough to keep these two happy(ish) for another couple of weeks.

We were at 99 degrees a week ago. Today we won't even hit 60. It's been raining since Friday and it is supposed to continue for another few days. It feels silly to water plants in the pouring rain. I get soaked but the plants don't get to enjoy Mother Nature's auto-watering system.

Nights are down to 40-44. I'm not sure how many of these gals are going to finish. The two sativas definitely are not impressed with the cool weather. They're dropping leaves like my ex-wife drops her panties for strangers.

GASS (about another 1-1/2 weeks, I reckon)

 That line about the ex has me rolling bud. Those are looking beautiful. Those purple buds are gorgeous! I cannot wait to see them when they get pulled.

Pretty...... And looks like you got a good start on alittle greenhouse there. Keepem Green errrr even purple

Some indica strains can have glands up to 160um so it helps to have differing screens per strain. I am bummed the weather has turned sour on you Major. Sending some mental thoughts of dry heat to your local weather fairy.

The gass is simply gorgeous though. I applaud your plastic topped pergola. Necessity is the mother of invention.

Major maybe i should get the 150- 160 bag? Id like to just to one drain.
Now thats purple!!!!!! Beautiful!!
Namaste

Too early for me to tell. Eventually I'll have: 75u, 125u, 150u, 177u in stainless steel screens (I'd like to also add a 100u). Once harvest is complete I'll have an opportunity for more experimentation. IDK if I'll do multiple screenings. I'm in this for quick and simple. Yield isn't really much of a consideration. For me it comes down to quality and the amount of time involved. I'm sure rosin and bubble are the best. Now if I could only process an ounce of herb into rosin or bubble in a couple of minutes...

Wow Major, those purples are looking fabulous! Best of luck getting them to the finish. You're always fighting the weather timelines with outdoor, but look at them grow. How could you resist the urge to try? I agree with gypsy, it looks like the LH is lit up with her own LEDs. :laughtwo:

Glad the ex wife is an ex.

The buds really do look that purple. Something about the early morning light that brought out the colors in the Liberty Haze. It has plenty of fall colors, but I doubt they last more than a few days to a maybe a couple of weeks. We'll see. The odd thing is, the other LH isn't doing it even though they are only about 150' apart. I'll be interested to see if the buds are also purple. I wasn't expecting it, but...

Glad the ex wife is an ex.
Oh gawd! Me too, Sue. Me too. :yahoo:
Tip of the day: When your husband introduces you to his friends as, "my first wife", you need to talk.

Sent from this funny device I carry around and still call a phone even though I hardly ever make calls with it.

Do people still answer "phones"? We should just stop calling them that - no one wants to talk on 'em anymore anyway - I rarely get through.

:cheesygrinsmiley:

I don't have a cell phone. Guess it goes back to the old tweak days when I thought big bro was watching everything I do. That wasn't a plane.... Big brother was listening to all wireless phone, I still have a landline. And he IS...... I'm not a paranoid person really... Miss J has a cell phone but reality I've never owned one. And I've never texted anyone..
Rain here. Been with no break in sight till the weekend. But my weather is always sketchy. I did pretty well with a LH I grew here. I think like 2 years back????? But I do remember getting it in about now,,, maybe a day earlier, and she turned out pretty damn good. Least from what I can remember even with all the destroyed brain cells. She sure is getting to be a pretty one. Going to keep her going till the wheels fall off????????????????? GL and Keepem Green

Oh, I forgot to say something Major you know I about got wiped out this year with them hemp mites. I mean I lost 3 of the ones I was planing on getting huge. These 3 were all from Stoney Girls, and I really believe that's where I acquired the nuisance from, seeing these 3 were all from there and were the worst infestations. Damn if I didn't think for afew weeks it was a transpiration problem, but this is Russet Hemp Mite damage;

But I did get a 4th plant from him. It was the smallest and least infected. But I have it in a unkempt greenhouse. She's alive, along with a Flo, which I need to get out and pay alittle attention to. It's a Pitt Bull. She did get hit by them bugs but I fought the good fight and looks like I'm going to get something anyway. Sparkly little mfer, even if they are all clear. Rain all week. I know they aren't going to make it. Man them bugs, even caught early in flower and treated, sure slowed the girls down by acouple weeks. Oh well,,,, we could move down south-east and give it hell. I might if it wasn't for Miss J having to deal with her problem,,, well our problem. She best get well,,,, someone has got to do the work around here...... JK kind of. But I'll see if I can get a decent pic of the Pitt in the next day or two. Keepem Green
