Bought two bags of Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil and one bag of the Fox Farm Happy Frog soil. Also bought four Marigolds to use as companion plants.

Bought more companion plants: Lavender, Chamomile, Rosemary and Basil. Really hoping to transplant my two Photos and a lot of companion plants tomorrow!

Really bad migraine today, so didn’t get a chance to check on the Autos & Photos at all. The two Photos are outside and they got rained on today.

Back in the day when I grew in the ground, the trick was to have your holes dug in the fall. I would dig up a few spots, and leave them over the winter. I would catch fish that weren't worth keeping and throw them in the holes, maybe one per hole. Over the winter months they would break down, and gather insane amounts of nutrients. Come spring you didn't even need any fertilizer. I know a guy that still does it, and he can talk for hours about "hole preparation." Think about that this year, for next year. The results are unbelievable, and it really is worth the extra work. Old hillbilly grow secret.

Started to fill the raised bed. Will transplant the two Photos tomorrow.

5/29/24
Because of migraines, didn’t get a chance to check on the Autos til nightfall. Once again, extremely wilted. Lifted the LED lights up higher. Watered them.

Finally transplanted the two Photos into raised beds outside. Used ALL of the soil from last season as a base, then 2.5 bags of Fox Farm Ocean Forest, then a bag of Happy Frog soil. Added perlite. Added Myco to the roots area. Fed them GeoFlora Veg (I’m off a couple days on this feeding schedule). Watered them.

Really hope they start to perk up again. Debating using tomato cages as a means of LST.

Questions on companion plants:
Sounds like Marigold and Chamomile both release helpful chemicals into the soil. I have my two outside Autos planted in raised beds. Is there anything negative with planting the companion plants in the same raised beds that have the Photos?

Thank you!! Between non-stop migraines, dad in extremely poor health and not being able to work due to back issues (surgery in a week), it's been an 'interesting' couple months! And to add insult to injury, I cannot have any THC or even CBD for two weeks before AND two weeks after the surgery! So, a very dry June for me...

I don't know anything about companion plants other than the folks who I've seen grow them plant them right in with the cannabis, even in troughs in a tent.

Setting up my ventilation system right now. Is it better to have the ducting go thru the ceiling or the side of the tent? Does it matter?

They're both good.
You can vent through either. I've got one tent vented through the roof, and the other is vented through an upper side vent.

Inline tight to the roof of micro-climate tent, fan at bottom & 1 at the top, don't blow directly on plants.

Lots of rain (as well as Tornado warnings) for the two Photos. Pruned off a lot of leaves w. issues on the two Autos.

More rain for the two Photos.

STILL setting up the grow tent. Watered the Autos.

6/8/24
FINALLY planted the companion plants around the two Photos. Might have waited too long for the chamomile. Let’s see if it survives. Rained again.

More rain for the Photos. More companion plants (Rosemary) placed right next to the two Photos. Placed tomato cages around both Photos. Used metal stakes to start LST on the Photos. Chamomile looks like it’s going to make it.

Grow tent is now totally set up / automated. Fed the two Autos some GeoFlora Bloom and watered them.

Back surgery a couple days ago. Will have to rely on my wife to care for the plants for the next…month? At least as far as watering! Watered inside and outside. For some reason the tent fans weren’t oscillating. Got them moving again.

Definitely not overwatered. If anything, the Autos are underwatered since I can't do the watering due to my back issues. I've been using a water meter to check the soil to see if they need water.

Really hungry makes a lot of sense!
I've been feeding them GeoFlora Bloom (3-5-5) every two weeks.
What else can I / should I be giving them?
I have Sweet Candy (0-17-28), Mega Crop (9-7-14), CalMag (1-0-0), Kelp Extract (0-0-18).
