I had two failures in a batch of 5, so maybe they drowned... I dont know. I will say that 3/5 came up just fine. His method probably has more research behind it than my gut belief that nature prepares for all sorts of things, even sitting in a puddle for a week. I also think that some people just talk to make themselves sound more knowledgeable. I myself might be guilty of that very thing. Question everything, test what you can. - Wee'zardMy question is, after reading @Emilya your new journal, I see that you make your seeds sink for 12hr, then bag/napkin them?
Does sinking them not drown them? Or is it because it’s for a short amount of time only, that it doesn’t harm them?
I was hesitant with the H202, but @HugePeckerhead said his survived so I went for it. He said he’d never use a different process moving forward.I had two failures in a batch of 5, so maybe they drowned... I dont know. I will say that 3/5 came up just fine. What’s your final thoughts about going straight into the 1 gallons? I know yours are growing freakishly fast, but Vulx and MC aside, do you plan on sticking with that moving forward, or going back to the solo cups first?
Im curious to see the flavor difference, if any, between your final “traditional” finished product, vs. the MC harvest. So far the MC/Vulx is pretty convincing.
I too am very curious what the MC product is going to look like but all appearances say that it's going to be very similar to what you would see in an organic grow where the plants get everything they need all through the grow. We will see. As far as the Solo cups go, I think instead of rethinking everything that I've written so far I would reserve that as a Fail-Safe method for a new grower so they can learn the watering method and the wet dry cycle but then for experienced growers that know the three times rule, I think starting at one gallon container would be just fine.I was hesitant with the H202, but @HugePeckerhead said his survived so I went for it. that's how I do itPlain and H202.
go an inch deep?
What are your thoughts @InTheShedSooo... this looks like some type of seed found its way into my soil mix... and not a cannabis seed... and it happens to be sprouting from the center of my cup.
Thoughts?
Never seen pointed seedling leafs before.
This was the Blue Monster Fem strain.
None of the others sprouted unfortunately. Gonna take @Emilya advice and scrap the H202.
After 36 hour soak they showed taps, so I pulled them, them put them in napkins.
