I got a weight for the Cherry Pie. 313 grams after being in jars for almost a month. Also got a couple grams of keif from the trim. Very nice sweet sour aroma every time I open a jar.

Hello, yes "Jar Tek" is putting the Rosin in a jar with a lid and apply low heat. You only fill the jar no more than 75% full. Most tutorials that I have read, use a scientific hot plate or the oven. I used "sous vide". I found some one ounce jars with good sealable lids on Amazon. I put approximately 8 grams of fresh squeezed and filtered (25 micron) rosin in the one ounce jar and sealed the lid and then I put the one ounce jar into a 4 ounce mason jar and sealed that jar with a lid. I put a grate in the bottom of the sous vide tub to hold the jar off of the bottom. I put the jars in the sous vide tub and set temp at 175f and set the timer for 48 hours. After the 48 hours You need to let the rosin completely cool before opening the jar, to preserve the terpenes. All of the tutorials that I have read say that the rosin will bubble during the cooking/decarb process and will be completed when bubbling almost completely stops. I watched for the bubbles and I must have missed them cause I did not see it bubble. I did achieve my goal of rosin with a thinner viscosity. I used a small cup warmer to reheat the rosin and a Borosilicate glass syringe and a 14 gauge, 1.5" blunt end luer lock dispensing needle to fill cartridge. Also I used a 120 micron bag to press the flowers, I made a 8 gram ball of rosin and put it into a 25 micron bag and pressed that to filter out any larger particles.Which is what, closed mason jar in the oven?
