I didn’t see any bugs. Are those aphids and do you have fungus gnats?
Are you looking at the AgroMagen residue again? Are those aphids and do you have fungus gnats?
“These” looks like sap. It’s dry liquid.
I hope not. That happened right after transplant, so I figured with my soil, and the bump to 4g MC I burned them.Yes. Yes I am.
Definitely have gnats. They were really bad on those abandoned ladies.Nute burn doesn't do that to the leaves. That would start at the tip and work its way down. If you don't see gnats then just see if it spreads. If you do see gnats then I would get some gnat-nix (or mosquito dunks...same thing). You put that in your water and let it sit for 24 hours, then mix in our nutes and use it for your plants. They'll be gone within a week.
Apparently they don’t sell gnat nix anymore. Got this instead.Mosquito dunks would be the fastest and simplest way to get rid of them. Dunks or bits will work, and I think the active ingredient is BTI. Any local HD or Lowes should have that.
carcass uses half a puck for a 5 gallon bucket and lets the BTI populate overnight, then uses that water for his plants.
Details here and here.
5 gallonBTI, that's it. How big are your mixing buckets?
@carcass, how much of the bits do you think Adam should use to replace the disks you have?
Brilliant!Guess I can see how much is in dunks and divide it by two.
Thanks for the tag,Shed!@carcass, how much of the bits do you think Adam should use to replace the disks you have?
Thanks carcass!Thanks for the tag,Shed!
The dunks weigh in at 13.5g each, and I use half of one in a 5 gallon bucket,so I'd say 7g of the "bits" would be just about right- just drop a quarter oz in the bucket every 30 days or so,and you should be gnatless in no time!
