First Time Grow - The Incredible Bulk Feminized

You really want the scrog to hold the main branches parallel to the light so all the little side branches can grow vertical and turn into proper nugs. It's not so much about locating vertical stalks through the squares as it is keeping everything except the growth tips under it.

Set the net lower and weave branches in the direction you want them to grow. Keep everything as level as possible until you flip. The net should be filled to 3/4 with canopy.
Done and done, thanks for the advice penny, was struggling to wrap my head around it for a little while there. Will be sure to check turbo's Scrog out shortly too. Cheers guys.

Think I'm getting it now....

The gaps in the trellis are wider than I'd like, I'm having to let them grow up past the second trellis a little more before I can tuck them under, another worry would be the thinness of the trellis material, its wide and thin so can be sharp enough to cut through a leaf, but only if it catches a serrated bit of the leaf. The wire doesn't seem to damage the stems at all, was on the look out all the time for that. I'm hoping that proceeding with this trellis will not turn out to be the worst decision I've made so far, if I tend the leaves the way I have been so far, I'm confident I can keep damage minimal.

The girls have grown vigorously again since the lollipoping so I'm considering another trimming of lower leaves, and some rather large upper leaves too which have pushed their way out past the trellis and covered some of my younger developing tops. No doubt the introduction of the screen is adding greater need for maintenance and regular attention, I can only hope it'll be worth while in the end. I will get some pics up later before I trim.

Looking for some advice on this... I have been splitting nutrients between waterings, Liquid Silicon, Biobizz Grow and PlantMagic cal/mag, splitting these was mostly because I was aware of ppm at the time I started (limited understanding lol) I wasn't quite sure how a high ppm would have even applied in my soft water situation... Any advice on throwing all those nutrients into one watering then just a fresh watering in between? Cheers.

Just a few pictures of some room changes and equipment, my "manual action air pump" for feeding reservoir...

The wash area...

Here are some pictures from a few days ago before I did the second round of lollipopping, you should be able to spot my two sick plants and their leaves quite easily, one has kinda recovered, the other hasn't really come back much....

Few pics of them after lollipop recovery...

Just a few pic updates for now...

Hello, long time no update...

Have been without a phone or laptop for the past few weeks so lack of connectivity has left me feeling like i have been flying blind this whole time lol.

Since the last sufficient update i have removed the trellis, built individual mini pallets for the pots to sit on, made use of my new digital PH and EC/ppm meters to help me figure out which girls needed a good flushing, some cases EC was more than 4 times what i was flushing with.

Flush mix, 30Ltr:

20ml Biobizz Grow
20ml Plant Magic Cal/Mag
5ml Silicon (To up PH)
EC 0926
PPM 0463
PH 6.60
Temp 20.0c

Not sure Just how accurate these meters are but I thought they should at least be able to show me there was way more desolved solids in the medium than i was pouring into it. Some were far better for PPM run off than others, some cases were too low but from what i can see the worst ones seem to be on the mend now.

Last night I began the 12/12 light schedule, I would like to have started this sooner but had to make time for flushing as well as trimming.

Not the best pictures but the best that I could do right now...

I'm enjoying the change over, it felt like the weeks were dragging till the flush and light schedule change, there has been more upward growth in the last few days and at a faster than usual pace, noticeably. The tallest one was once my sick and stunted one, god knows what happened to it, it's like a totally different plant. Lots of pictures to show...

Things are looking a little yellow in the new growth, some lower areas too, my last feed had a little less Biobizz Grow than usual, I had anticipated a little increase of nitrogen because I had added quite a lot of Biobizz All Mix soil to all the pots, the soil was so loose and dry at times you could feel roots and they were far to close to the top for my liking, I think compacting has been the main reason for this, wish I had went over board with the perlite to soil ratio, or watered a little more gently nearer the start, anyway I'm now thinking that it won't actually add much, think I remember reading that All Mix is time released but like 2 or 3 day after watering I think to activate it, have not looked into that fully.

Lights on:
RH: 45 to 55%,
Temp: 27.8C to 28.5C

Lights off:
RH: 56 to 68%
Temp: 18.8C to.... not sure because I have only reset my meter before lights off and so it has last max temp when lights were on.... This is my issue right now, raised humidity during lights off. I've reset my meter half way through the lights off period to see if my plan to raise heat and lower humidity has worked. lights come on at 10pm and go off at 10am, the reason for this is because we are having abnormally hot weather right now, it is "scorchio!!!" and has been for 2 weeks  night time has been the only safe time to have the lights on, I dare not think what day temps would be like right now.

If My plan does not work then a fairly large and reliable humidifier will definetly be needed.
