First Time Fluxing

Thanks for checking out my journal @GardeningGnome I think you are spot on with the plants being bushy due to training. Thank you for the kind words. I'm pretty happy with the results since this is my first grow in years and a much different set up.

The Blue Dream is coming along nicely for how I have been tending to it. I will start to focus more on it going forward but as of now it is just in a solo cup.

@PCaddict I also love the effects of BlueDream. The last time I smoked it I was hiking in the Rocky Mountains. It was an experience that stuck with me so I had to have some in stock.

Today has been amazing. So many struggles this morning but I took them on head first and still made it to work on time with a smile. I hope you all are having an amazing start to your week as well!

I'm clearing some space in the 4x4 tent today as things were getting a little claustrophobic. 17 plants in solo cups will be upgraded from a solo cup to a 1 gallon fabric pot and moved out of the tent and into a new makeshift veggie spot. 9 tomatoes and 8 peppers. Still not sure what to do with the jackpot auto other than leave it be.

I'll post a pic of whatever progress I make tonight. Here is the veggie garden in the making.

Nice with some other plants growing!

If you are interested in a great show about gardening, check out the BBC show "Gardeners World", many episodes available on youtube.
Excellent and chilled host, just mucking around in his garden. Best show around, hands down. Learn how to take cuttings from all sorts of plants, what they need to feel at home and all sorts of good stuuf. Each episode I've seen there is something to pick up and use. The show has been on the air for decades and was actually the first show BBC broadcasted in color!

My first batch of LAB is ready to be extracted. Thanks to @Emilya I didn't throw the rice water out and decided to add the milk and see if it turned out. As far as I can tell it looks good. Now, I will mix the yellowish white liquid layer in the middle 1:1 with molasses. That mixture is then mixed 1 part mixture to 20 parts water. Then I mix 2 table spoons of the liquid with 1 gallon of water.

@Backyardigan I don't mean to be lazy but I am just starting to learn about this and organic gardening so I could not do it justice. The write up does a fantastic job covering the uses and the process.

I trained the Pineapple Express tonight. Before and after pics below. The other ladies are jealous of how relaxed her training is compared to their own. It will be interesting to see how she develops, it's a way lankier than the others.

This looks very interesting!! For sure something I'll be picking up for the garden at least. Might even be worth testing on a few ladies when they get really hungry. Thanks for the link, I'm gonna reading here!

Will you use it out on a smaller test-group to have a control-group to compare with, or going full out?

Haha!!

That other one is getting a proper workout!! Luv it!!!

I'm not sure what my plan is just yet. I will probably test it out on some tomatoe plants first just to be safe. My tomatoes and peppers are going to be my guinea pigs this Spring for all sorts of good stuff like this.

Eventually I will be doing some comparisons with same strain autos. I have megacrop on it's way so that might be one I include. Not sure what I would compare it against just yet.

Btw, how big are those pots?

Just realized (didn't even think about it before) that they are excellent and easy for fastening wire for LST&HST...
Never grown before in cloth-pots, but I got three 10L (2.6gallons) ordered and ready to rock when needed!

How about we have an old fashioned foot-race this summer brother; whom of us can raise the best peppers or tomatoes? :)

I'm doubtful that the Swedish spring will give good enough weather, but my balcony is perfect for summertime grow. Never tested to grow peppers before, but I'm game.

Have you ever tried to grow Physalis? Amazing growth and I ended up using three of them last summer as my guinea pigs as they responded quickly and extremely clearly to different sorts of treatments.

Regarding the weather here; tonight we actually had the first little little snow of the whole year. Not much, and I hope we don't get any more at all. No need for that ish this "late".

@GardeningGnome I am game for a friendly grow off with some tomatoes and peppers. I will be trying a lot of new to me techniques so it will be interesting to see how they turn out. I have never heard of physalis to be honest. I will have to look into that now. I hope all is well over there and thanks for stopping by!

Fed the plants last night and today. :meatballs:

WW1 and NL are getting a mixture of veg and bloom nutes until they stop stretching. This is consistent with what @InTheShed mentioned. I looked at the instructions on the bottles (imagine that) and they had the same recommendation.

I did some training on the Franco in Flux and that is coming along nicely.

Blue dream is happy and I am planning on moving her to a 3 gallon pot possibly tonight.

Jackpot Auto is making somewhat of a comeback. It is only showing preflowers and starting to grow. Nothing to write hone about but we will see what happens anyways.

I'll update with some pictures after work today. The tent is starting to smell a bit dank now. :yahoo:

I put some venison in the smoker to make jerky a little late tonight so I had some time to tinker. I topped the Blue Dream

I turned the Jackpot auto into a mini bonsai

And I removed a few leaves on the Franco Lemom Cheese

Here's a group pic. Sorry about the lighting I am struggling to find a good combo of reds, whites and blues for pictures so I'll have to look into that.

I swear WW1 was curling down like this after 15 hours or so of light and would perk up after resting but now I am really starting to think I over watered it. I'll take a close up tomorrow morning. Have a fantastic evening!
