First Time Fluxing

She looks beauty brother, is it not time to take those beasty lower fan leaves tho.. they arnt going to help the cause much down there when the buds thicken up. She is looking lovly though

Thanks! I do need to give her a good trim. I have been hands off for the most part lately until I was confident it wasn't stressed out from overwatering or feeding. Thanks again!

Well do it before day 21 of flower. .. all the trimming and lollipoping needs doing before that day.. that way you have 1 final week to recover before the full force of flowers start and you start removing nitrogen.

I defol hard and regular though to be fair

:woohoo: WW1 is looking pretty happy to me. I'll be curious to see if she gets tuckered out again tonight or if it was an issue she worked through. I really do think she does this everyday and I just worry too much because it looks so sad when it is tired haha

My plants do this every night, some more then others. Keep up the good work.

Hey buddy, was just having a gander at your girl here and would just like to point out the stripes on the lower leaves, I'm thinking your having some ph swings... it looks like it a little... have you check and p.hd you soil runoff to 6.2?

If your putting your p.h in at 6.2 but the soil range is closer to 7 then the water you put in will fly up to 6.6 before it touches the bottom of the pot..

Anyway just a thought if you hadn't noticed already

I always refer to this website growweedeasy it's a bloody gem and has everything you could imagine including good trouble shooting guides

Well spotted sir!

And you are 100& right, I was feeding them with waaay to high pH at the beginning of the week. This Gorilla Glue and another had an infestation of Sciaridae which really slowed them down and weakened them immensely.

Thanks for the website advice. Bookmarked!

I don't think you should remove too much nitrogen in flower though. Plants need it all through their lives. They've done tissue samples of harvested plants and found N levels close to K levels. I posted a few results and the link to the full pdf here.

Thanks for the information and the link. Also had a look at a few of the links in your signature. Quality tutorials for a moderate well-versed grower like myself. Will be going back to them, plus subscribed to your journal as well. I should start to spread my wings a bit now that I'm getting comfortable on the forum, it seems like a perfect journal to include in the daily reading. Thanks again!

Woohoo, she's looking happy! Ya you! Keep it up! :rollit:

The topping is done! I've uploaded the photos in my own journal, don't want to hijack yours brother!

I would never consider it hijacking. I like the back and forth otherwise it can be monotonous with just my plants. I checked it out, great success!

Glad to be able to help GG! I've already subbed your journal but haven't had time to catch up yet with everything else I have to read, but I will...

No worries! Honored that you've subbed my journal, there are so many good ones to follow here so I'm actually amazed of all the great feedback and advice from people here in the community. Take your time and have a peek whenever possible!

You are right, that could be nice with a bit of interval. I'll keep that in mind for the future!

Happy Friday! I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. Blue dream has woken up since being topped and having leaves removed. Still living that solo cup life. Have a wonderful weekend!

Here is the current status of my future veggie garden. I might get more lumens from new bulbs which I have an abundance of for this light but the plants just don't seem chipper. They were just transplanted and the tai chilli pepper was premature (the most depressed plant in a 1gal pot) long story short I am trying to figure out the best mars light for my situation. Basically my kind xl750 led, the makeshift 100w LED and a mars light to cover the 4x4 and a veg station the same footprint as this florescent light covers. Just brainstorming. Advice is appreciated

Lookin good modest.

I bottled up my kombucha for a second ferment with blueberries. Thought I would make another batch and put a larger container in the tent. The thought is it is creating Co2. It may not make any difference but I make kombucha anyways so no harm no foul.

I left a lot of scobys in this 1 gallon jar to have this batch active right away. I also left some liquid from the last batch as a starter.

Around 1 cup of sugar per gallon of tea. I put the jar in a bag and cover the top with a paper towel before placing in the tent.
