First Time Fluxing

Good morning 420 fam! I woke up to a perky WW1. Very relieved that I wasn't misreading the plant and overwatering. I have to remember this because at the end of the light schedule she always looks so sad and tired. Didn't really get a good pic as I was running behind this morning but you can see the difference.

Modest what is happening with the plant at the back. She is drooping hard. Have you got her sat in water? She looks to be over feeding heavily

I was worried about over watering and maybe overfeeding. I agree she was drooping extra hard in the pic at night but I thought she looked good again this morning. She seems to tucker out after 15 hours and then bounces back over night. You still think she's looking rough? I have it on a riser and not sitting in water but I plan to let it dry out completely and just water next round before feeding again.

I do still see some droopy leaves though. One thing I read but not sure about is maybe the light is too intense. It is the closest (no LED bleach though) but I upped the red spectrum from 75% to 85% so maybe it is too much at that distance? I was thinking about raising the other plants and then the light or just lowering the red spectrum back. I also could just raise the light and maybe that will promote some much needed stretch in the others? Any thoughts are appreciated

Once it sets it it starts causing no end of problems locking you out...

Drive a thin pole through the soil to give it some air holes, it dries out a tad quicker and let's some oxygen in there..

I use h202 in most feeds.. already if I over water there is extra oxygen ready to be used up lmao.

I just had to give my trippy gorilla 1week of no feed so she dries out. I think shes recovering finally though

I put some venison in the smoker to make jerky a little late tonight so I had some time to tinker. I topped the Blue Dream

I turned the Jackpot auto into a mini bonsai

And I removed a few leaves on the Franco Lemom Cheese

Here's a group pic. Sorry about the lighting I am struggling to find a good combo of reds, whites and blues for pictures so I'll have to look into that.

I swear WW1 was curling down like this after 15 hours or so of light and would perk up after resting but now I am really starting to think I over watered it. I'll take a close up tomorrow morning. Have a fantastic evening!

Things are looking great!

I'm thinking that I need to top my ladies soon as well, might be a little late for it to be perfect.... How old is your Blue Dream?

The Franco/flux is developing nice!

Hope all is good with you mate!

Hay Gnome I topped later and my girls seem to be fine. Top then let it recover then tie down leaders and when others start to get just a little taller Super Crop them so that others catch up

Thanks @GardeningGnome The Blue Dream is around 23 days old. It really wasn't too planned out I just kind of went for it as I was tinkering last night. Everything is going great here. I hope you are having a fantastic day my friend!

Thinking that I'm late when it comes to topping my Gorilla Glue's as well. I want to take some clones fro them, so I'm not sure what todo with them. One of them I did LST on today and tied down the top. Thinking I want two clones of it, OR I put it directly into bloom. The other (the purple GG) I'm really liking and want to take a few more clones of. Thinking about letting it grow longer in veg and getting "two birds, one stone" by topping it and using the longer/bigger top as a clone. Then let it grow a bit more, get two or four clones, and then develop a unified canopy before moving it into bloom. Please do have a look at the new photos uploaded today in my journal if you have the time. I've only twice been topping plants before and it is one of the areas that I'm terribly uninformed and inexperienced at.

They are looking great! As for topping, I like the 2 for one approach with getting clones and topping plus the even canopy. I'm very go with the flow when it comes to photo period plants. I think if you go with the plan that you want to do you would be able to make it work out perfectly. Autos are a bit more objective on the topping approach due to the lack of control over timing and need to avoid slowing growth at all costs. Not sure if that helps at all but I would trust your gut :thumb:

That does help for sure!! I agree completely with auto plants and never really liked to "having to stick to a strict schedule" when it comes to growing. Or anything for that matter... As Douglas Adams once wrote: "I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by."

I'm thinking about topping one of my smaller GG's tomorrow/tonight..... It is the one that has recovered best out of the two weaker GG's and roots are already starting to spring out of the bottom of the pot. The idea is to put it in bloom within a few days. Okay if I take a photo and add here to get your opinion?

@GardeningGnome I like the plan! If you can, sterilize your cutting tool with rubbing alcohol and make sure you don't knick the ones you want to keep. The rest should be smooth sailing!

Alright!! Will be done tonight, plus LST'ning the bigger leaves on the same plant to maximize the light to the lower branches. I'll be posting the results later tonight. A bit busy pulverizing and adding charcoal on the soil of the house plants. Worked great for making sure the damn pest had a difficult time getting to the soil and laying their eggs. Decided to get it done today for all the house plants!!

:woohoo: WW1 is looking pretty happy to me. I'll be curious to see if she gets tuckered out again tonight or if it was an issue she worked through. I really do think she does this everyday and I just worry too much because it looks so sad when it is tired haha

Hey buddy, was just having a gander at your girl here and would just like to point out the stripes on the lower leaves, I'm thinking your having some ph swings... it looks like it a little... have you check and p.hd you soil runoff to 6.2?

If your putting your p.h in at 6.2 but the soil range is closer to 7 then the water you put in will fly up to 6.6 before it touches the bottom of the pot..

Anyway just a thought if you hadn't noticed already
