First Journal, Bag Seeds

After really looking at the picture then going back to check, it’s all at or above water level, that makes me think it’s just sediment from the nutes maybe?what ever it is it doesn’t seem to b slowing “her” down, and the runt is getting its life together also:blunt::Rasta:

So I was changing the air tube from clear to dark blue today and I noticed some discoloring on my roots and a slimy clump, now I did do a water change yesterday with nutrients and everything, could it just b staining or the clear tubing letting light in, or do I have a problem that still needs to b solved

The slime might be Pythium root rot? Look into it, even if not, it's just good to know. I had it in veggie garden, H202 cleared it up.

It could be nutes as you suggested or it could also be runoff from the clay pebbles if you didn't rinse them really really well (don't think it would hurt anything other than making you worry about root rot). I've had both those cases in DWC before :) But I've also had root rot and in my case the roots were brown all the way to the bottom, not just the top section and the smell was kind of a dead give away.

The only concern I have is that you mentioned it was "slimy". I'd monitor it if I were you and if it gets worse consider lowering res temps (if significantly above 20C) and treating with Hydrogen Peroxide. I'm sure there are other products you can use too. The clear tubing could be an issue, but I'd expect to see a green tinge in your lines and other signs of algae forming.

Thank you guys, I’ll check it again, I drove a hour one way to pick up a couple tower fans for $30 so I’m excited about those lol other than that not much going on, it’s hard to see much on the roots with that damn blurple in the background

Oh yeah made a scrim net also, I wasn’t sure the night so I made a couple lengths of legs lol and the trellis net is kinda janky but it’s harder to make a net with paracord than I thought lol

How much do u give per gallon of this? And is this the right one?
I'm afraid I only ever used the Food grade 35% stuff. As sometimes the 3% has other things added to it (not necessarily 97% distilled water). I'd cut the stuff to 3% and then followed this advise from

:

"The recommended amount of 3% solution of peroxide per gallon of water in hydroponics is around 3ml per liter or 2-3 teaspoons per gallon of reservoir water."

I checked my water temp yesterday and it was almost 80 degrees m, I’m gonna leave the door open a crack , that keeps the room temp around 72 so that should fix the high water temp issue, that’s probably what was causing the root discoloring in the roots

Just a little advice, I can see algae forming in the blue tubes. You should tape that up, it’s a hole leading light directly into the bucket. Also blue air stone tubing does the same thing, you want black aquarium tubing to prevent light getting through your hose... Your plants look good! .. I like those screw in hooks ;) .. makes training a cake walk in DWC.

So i notices it last night, but I was raising my light because I was thinking it was to close and I noticed one leaf tip was browning:lot-o-toke: Think that could b from light being to close?

The lead tip browning is not from the light being to close, most likely toxicity. What are you feeding with, and what is your waters ppm? The reservoir being at 80 degrees is way to hot and your almost guaranteed to have root rot unless your using hydro guard or flying skull. Are you using either? Sorry I just jumped in, hope that’s alright.
EDIT: I just went back and saw that your using hydro guard and GH trio.. use that hydro guard religiously throughout the grow if your res temp is 80 degrees.. do you have any fans circulating air in and out of the room/tent? That will make a big difference in your grow I think.

Yeah I added a tower fan a few days ago, I’m gonna leave the door open a bit to keep temps down, and I’m glad ur here, the more the merrier, and I can use all the help I can get

I am using hydro guard, but it’s my first time using it, do I only add it during water changes? And my ppm is 1004, I thought that seemed high but looked at the feeding chart and is seems correct

, they r looking healthy so far, but I’d really like to keep it that way so any help
Is greatly appreciated
