First Grow!

yeah i've heard about "fimming" from threads i've read here on 420 and need to read up on it,but with the topping i have read one thread that said to cut with a razor blade or sharp scissors and another one that said to pinch the top off to stop it effectivly "bleeding" just curious which method do you use ? and have you had any issues ?

I used a razor blade and had no problems whatsoever. The plants recover very quickly and do their thing.

sweet cheers SABO thats what i was hoping you would say i dont keep razor blades about the house but do have a v.sharp scissors would this be ok to use ? cheers

Scissors are good, just make sure they are sharp. You want a clean cut. I would sterilize the scissors first with a little rubbing alcohol before the "Off with her Head".

I thought mine were going to stretch too much because when i brought the light down in my grow room it was too hot so i raised the light till i could get a stable enough temp then propped the plants up untill they were about 2ft away from the light seemed to have worked for me will check out your journal in the morning as i've gotta shoot off now

ha ha ha she's perked right up this morning as if nothing even happened ! and the new growth underneath where i snipped have grown overnight ! woo hoo they are starting to bush

I think your plants are about 20 days old now and they have some really nice growth. Did it say on the package how big they get?
