First Grow!

Yeah you can try out supercropping too. I know it's not popular here, seems lst rules. But it works if your not Lennie of mice and men :)

Hey VG, Supercropping might be worth a try. It's a little to early to try it now, but at the 5th node, I'd do it. I did it to my plants and they took to it very well. It's like S&M for plants without the whip! :rocker:

hey SABO
i've looked into supercropping and i wanna try it but not going to push it first time round i am going to have more time on my hands after july so plenty of time to experement then, the girls have responded well to their initial tie down, then tightned them down again this morning i'm not sure weather i should nip it up again in the morning i'll upload a pic now and tell me what you think :-) :peace:

cheers SABO
i must be doing something right .. woo hoo :-) i will take some more shots tomorrow evening the little mazar is impressive she's short and stout :-) and still no sign of them first little leaves turning yellow they are still green as the rest of the plant they are actually sprouting new leaves if you look in pic one :-) :thumb:

Yeppers, they are putting on some very impressive growth. Those 1st little leaves will dry up and shrivel away when the plant is done feeding off of them. After that they'll be feeding off of the nutrients in the soil and then you have to determine when you will introduce nutes. I waited as long as possible, could have possibly waited longer, but I introduced nutes around 35 days at 1/4 strength. I just fed them today again & it looks like they are taking them well. Are you going to top them? If so, right about now would be the perfect time.

i'm on day 17 above soil .. i think will have to double check ha ha :-) my friend uses the same nutes i have so going to speak to him over the weekend to see what he started them on but i think when i do introduce nutes i will deffo start with 1/4 strength no matter what my friend says ha ha
I'm not sure weather to top them or not i might just top the one power plant just to compare yeilds. i dont want to top the mazar as the node spacing is so tight i'm afraid i will kill her and i just want to leave her grow with just some lst . what do you think ? top the one power plant or both ?

I guess that would be up to you whether to top one or both of them. The yield comparison would be nice to see and could give you invaluable information for your next grow. I know I'd be interested in seeing the difference.

i agree sabo, compare or not compare that is the question ha ha .
i have read threads with diagrams in and am confident with the power plant but the mazar is so tightly packed i've not got the steadiest of hands and wouldnt want to batter her she's coming along nice :-) deffo going to top the one tomorrow to compare why the hell not i read the power plant handles hst good but not this time for me next grow i'm gonna have a pop at the bluberry and the other mazar .. planning the next already ha ha ha ! :allgood:

Sounds like a good plan to me. Am already planning my next adventure. I am going to do a feminized Tijuana outdoors, can get to 2 to 3 meters high!!!!! I have my grow site selected, but that is going to be one heck of a bush if she grows that big. I am going to do an outdoor Autoflowering plant also just for fun, both of the seeds were freebies. I just order 5 feminized Darkstar seeds and I'll do 2 of those indoors. From what I've been reading the Darkstar is supposed to be very potent & doesn't really like to be messed with. I'll just let them do their thing and practice up on some patience.

hell yeah just can't help myself !
holy crap 3m that gigantic ! ha ha go for it would love to grow one outside,i would if i could, but i cant,so i shant :-) that darkstar sound like it means buisness lol.
I been readin up on them autos not sure if i fancy them maybe i will have a go but i like to mess with the girls ha ha ha :-)

How you doing VG? Things over here are ok, I guess. It was pretty warm yesterday afternoon, but snowed again last night. The weather here is unreal, but you'll get my weather in a couple of days! HaHa!

You are getting some nice fat stems! They will be able to support some good bud! Keep on Growing!

:headbang:

Dude you should know these things before you attempt! First thing first pp is a great strain! Thou i must say loving raspberry cough more then them all right now, anyway lets go...... Anything you put in the tank you should always check NUTRIENT ph levels before dosing plant........
Reason cause it will fuck with your PH thats for sure.....how much you should feed..... Good question... What medium you using? But thats not all what size buckets ok look if its run to waste coco, you want a 15 percent run off hmmmmmmmm that means you put one litre in you want 150 ml to run out the bottom, from the plant..... Knowing that it dosnt matter what size your pots are! pour water in measured untill 15 percent comes out...

Ok your thinking hmmm what about if i leave only a little flush say less then 10 percent you will get salt build up dude thats what the overun is for, id over run exactly what i put in if i could afford it. Ok now you've worked out how long that timer goes on for the pump to get 15 percent waste through all your buckets, how often..

How often we know how long.... Well the hill billy way would be to stick your thumb in, ok theres no rule.. Dude why becuase id depends on your room..... Hhhmmmm his saying WTF well the other most important part is environment the more watts the more heat the more evaporation which turns into humidity, hmmm did i say humidity another importance part of the environment.... In environment hey dud from 1300 watts maybe less if i averaged

600 watt 2 weeks on light rail changed to 1000 both a hps for another 4 weeks two of them flowering then 1000 watt becomes stationary no more light rail room divided by lights not literally 600 watt on side 1000 watt for rest of flowerin room size 4 feet deep, 6 feet long 6 feet high 3.1 p

hey SABO i'm good thanks weather is weird here too not snowing weird tho ! its got real warm the last 2 days thats why i havent been on .. been out riding making most of the weather :-) you can keep your snow :-P
The stems are fatning up nicley and they are giving off a little whiff too :-D i hope they do need to support some fat buds the more bud i get the longer i dont have to purchase any ! hows your ladies ?? cheers for the info 1200w3pound :-)

Hey VG,

Thanks alot, we have had one of the worst winters here in the last 30 years. I just thought I spread some of the snow around. My plants are doing great & are really starting to smell real good. I have 9 of those babies just waiting to go into flower! Patience, patience, & more patience. I don't know when I want to pull the trigger yet, the 16th or 30th???? Ahhhh, the choices one has to make, but realistically, I am glad that I have made it this far without a major catastrophe, plus I probably picked out the easiest strains for beginners. HaHa. There are some important things that I have learned though & will incorporate those learned lessons in my next Indoor grow. As for the Outdoor grow, they are going to be basically on their own, but with just a little maintenance.

ha ha ha thanks but no thanks for sharing the snow ha ha ha ;-P we have had one of the best winters ever ... no snow at all lol been bloody cold tho !
why dont you go happy medium and flip the girls between the dates you stated? if i make it to harvest time without no major misshaps i will be one happy chappy, its one big learning curve and i'm loving it, the next grow i'm deffo gonna try experementing a bit :-)
you going to grow the outdoor one in your own garden or leave her wild ;-) thats something i would love to do grow outside not limited on space then ! :peace:

Yeah, am still debating whether to go just in the middle. I've learned alot here, but could apply many other gardening/plant skills that I already had.

if your not sure when to flip middle of the road is a good plan ;-) thats what i would do if you flip sooner you would have wished you flipped later and vice versa. can you flip half of them now and the rest later ? best of both worlds then ;-)

Wow SABO that is one impressive view ! looks like a great spot for big girl :-) you going to be sharing her progress cos i would love to see how that turns out its making me droul thinking about how big of a bush she will have ! ha ha :-)
My gardening skills are yet to show i'm a little worried about topping if i tell the truth, but prolly worried over nothing ha ha ha !! :peace:

Yeah VG, that is what I am leaning towards. Am probably going to flip in the middle. Topping isn't that hard, you can also try FIM. Either way, you will get multiple colas. There are some great pictorials here and also check out some videos on topping on "You Tube".
